MAMA JUNE SUFFERED FOR HER NEW “FROM NOT TO HOT” SERIES
Honey Boo Boo’s Mama June had the biggest neck we’ve EVER seen on a woman when their reality series started. It seemed highly improbable that this 460 pound woman could ever look like a normal person. But gastric bypass surgery made it impossible for her to overeat and she lost an incredible 300 pounds in a relatively short time. Halfway through the process, June had excess skin removed from her neck, with still more to go. Losing the weight was tough, but having all that skin removed- 12 to 13 pounds of it –was the PAINFUL part – but absolutely necessary. Just about all of her 5’6” body needs hanging skin removed and the scars are big. June says the surgery cost her $75,000 but was worth it. She still faces further skin removal. Hopefully, her chubby daughters will learn from all this.(Above, Mama June and Honey Boo Boo are promoting June’s new series “From Not to Hot.”

She looks incredible. She looks like a different person! Makes you realise how bad it was before, especially the neck. Props to her for having the courage (I guess she had to do something drastic to get back on TV).
