Wealthy people never seem to take the route of quietly helping real poor people. I know there are some really great discreet philanthropic people out there but when you’re at this level, you could buy a very expensive art collection and still help average individuals who need healthcare and food and housing. I find it incredibly hard to reconcile and like someone who is devoted to collecting art, but wouldn’t give a few bucks to a starving person. I just think that’s awful. Obviously there is no new story that says there’s going to be a Lauren Sanchez soup Kitchen anytime soon.
