Add Lauren Sanchez-Bezos to the list of global billionaires. Even though Lauren’s July wedding to Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos now seems like old news, we couldn’t help but share this tidbit we just heard. Soon after the ink dried on their ironclad prenuptial agreement, Jeff surprised Lauren with one last wedding present – he made her an instant billionaire by gifting her enough shares in his various entities that she’d qualify for the status. My source says that Jeff didn’t want to feel like the sugar daddy in the relationship, and since many of Lauren’s galpals, like Kim Kardashian, already have achieved billionaire status, he wanted Lauren to have that same feeling. Although we expect their marriage to last, whatever happens, Lauren can now claim she’s a billionaire.
