JENNIFER LAWRENCE DIDN’T HAVE A GOOD YEAR

We’re not sure if Jennifer Lawrence, 27, is still the highest paid actress in the world, but she’s taking a lot of flak because her recent movies haven’t made much money. We think her ex-boyfriend Darren Aronofsky, 49, derailed her career when she starred in his disturbing film Mother. (We appreciated the moral dilemma in her movie Passengers, and can’t figure out why it wasn’t a hit. It was a sci-fi movie aimed at women, but they were not made aware of it with good marketing.) In her new spy thriller Red Sparrow, Jennifer plays a Russian woman and we’ll see how that accent goes…

    I am sci fi fanatic and Passengers would have been a great movie if not the underlying premises that Chris Pratt character stalked Jennifer Lawrence while she was in a in a cryosleep until he decides to awaken her so he would not be alone (sexual manipulation). https://www.pbs.org/newshour/science/passengers-gets-right-hibernation-wrong-stalking
