The upcoming Los Angeles mayoral election is dividing Hollywood with longtime friends suddenly not speaking as the factions split into two camps, one favoring current LA Mayor Karen Bass, and the other endorsing unexpected candidate and former reality star, Spencer Pratt. According to my source, the floodgates blew open once a few legitimate names like Grammy winner David Foster and his wife Katherine McPhee endorsed Pratt. Now other big names, like Steven Spielberg and Jennifer Aniston are teaming up to throw fundraisers for Bass. My source says the the election is dividing Hollywood into two camps and friendships that have withstood the test of time are suddenly feeling fragile.

The Hollywood Normals on one side, the Hollywood-adjacent (i.e. reality show people) on the other.
S.L.
David Foster is Canadian. Katherine McPhee hasn’t done anything since Smash. If Hollywood is splitting in two, its A/B list and then everyone else it seems.

Jenn’s publicist is a genius. Making fans feel sorry for her has landed her a large fortune. The greasy hand cream and the enhanced water deals were worth more than she ever made acting. Including the years she endured on friends as loser Schwimmer’s love interest.

The question is: If you are anti MAGA for millions of reasons, but one of them is having a inexperienced, corrupt, reality show White House, yet you support Pratt’s candidacy how do you square that? Pratt is cut from the same cloth.
He is a divisive, inexperienced carnival barker who’s house burned down. I think this will definitely drive a wedge in friendships.

i don’t think there’s any overlap between anti Maga and people voting for Pratt
