JAKE GYLLENHAAL’S BEST FRIEND IS A FEMALE?

This is the second Christmas vacation that Jake Gyllenhaal, 36, has spent with Greta Caruso, 32, But they still insist they are simply friends. Greta comes from a showbiz background also- she’s the daughter of NYPD Blue star David Caruso, and Total Recall actress Rachel Ticotin. Greta, a Yale grad, is involved in the sustainable food business. Jake and Greta are frolicking on the beach in St Barts, giving each other a quickie back or neck massage. We know how unusual it is for heterosexual men to be just “friends” with women – admirable, but unusual. Hence the curiosity about their relationship…
