California’s Governor Gavin Newsom was all over the news for brilliantly trolling Donald Trump and his MAGA crew on social media. The tweets have instantly propelled Gavin to frontrunner status as a 2028 presidential contender, and here’s what we know. A well placed source says Gavin is rumored to be in cahoots with with his ex-wife, Kimberly Guilfoyle, who likely is carrying a grudge against the Trump family after she was unceremoniously DUMPED by his son, Donnie Jr and likely wants revenge. We all know politics make strange bedfellows, so it’s quite possibly my source is correct that Kimberly is advising her ex-husband on how to get under Trump’s skin – and it seems to be working!
Speaking of Donald Trump, he made the news for so many reasons – including his failed peace summit in Alaska. The most lighthearted reason though, was when the results of his rose garden makeover were revealed and it looked exactly like the patio of Mar a Lago – he selected the exact same yellow and white striped umbrellas. We heard this crazy tidbit. Donald is telling people he intends to LEASE out the area for private events, including corporate gatherings and weddings! Yes, ever the hustler, Donald is telling people the area is an underperforming asset and should be generating revenue which is why he added concrete floors, patio tables and chairs where the sod once was.
Bryan Kophberger, the Idaho college serial murderer was in the news for having the gall to request a transfer from his current cellblock since he’s allegedly being harassed by other inmates (well duh, it’s not a 5-star resort). We just heard this tidbit. Bryan is being pursued by Oprah Winfrey for a sit down interview, so we might finally find out what exactly happened and what he was thinking when he killed four innocent college students in their sleep. Oprah confided to a pal that she thinks landing the first interview with Bryan will shatter the ratings of her last top rated sit-down, her chat with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and she’s working hard to get him to talk.
Blast from the past, Jillian Michaels was suddenly back in the news for complaining (and threatening a lawsuit) about the recent Netflix documentary on her former show, The Biggest Loser. We can tell you this. Jillian is hoping to parlay her newfound fame into a FOX News show. While she hasn’t tried to hide her MAGA leanings, Jillian is milking this in hopes of reviving her career which is why she also went on CNN and made some controversial comments about slavery. My source says that Jillian has been in touch with some people at FOX News and is pitching them show ideas.
Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet made headlines when they were spotted together in Hungary where he is currently filming Dune 3. We know this. Despite reports that the couple were taking a break, Timothee prefers to avoid distractions (like girlfriends) when filming, so THAT’S why Kylie hasn’t been glued to his side during production. He had a break from filming, so she jumped on her jet to spend a few days with him. Long story short, they are still going strong.
Aubrey Plaza made the news when she went on Amy Poehler’s podcast, Good Hang, and discussed the suicide of her estranged husband, Jeff Baena. Although it was sad to report, we were the first to disclose the couple were secretly separated when he ended his life. We can tell you this, Aubrey is working on a book about the tragedy and also about how she copes with the grief and guilt. It will be more of a self help book than a tell-all, and she’s telling pals she plans to donate all profits to suicide prevention programs.
Travis Kelce made the news when he was photographed with his teammate and business partner, Patrick Mahomes, at their soon to be open steakhouse, 1587 Prime, at the Loews Hotel in Kansas City. We can tell you this. Taylor Swift isn’t a partner in the restaurant, but nonetheless her soon to be world famous chai sugar cookies are set to be on the dessert menu along with her cinnamon rolls. (But the rolls will only be on the weekend brunch menu) Taylor loves to bake and has made no secret of her kitchen skills and let’s face it, Travis saw it as a no- brainer to add her name and dessert to the menu…

RE: Aubrey Plaza… thank you for shining the light on suicide. It is MUCH more common than we think. My late partner took his life; it has been over 25 years and I still think of him almost every day. Also, I believe that Joan Rivers and her husband Edgar Rosenberg were on the verge of splitting when he took his life. It’s interesting that Plaza didn’t mention the separation at all when Poehler interviewed her on that podcast. Of course, Poehler didn’t ask either — even though it’s common knowledge that the two were living separately.
