The Tony nominations were a big news in the world of entertainment, especially since George Clooney earned a Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Play nomination for his Broadway debut in Good Night, and Good Luck.  Here’s what we know. Although George has earned mostly positive reviews for his performance, our Broadway insider says it was actually Donald Trump who pushed voters over the edge to nominate George. Trump has been badmouthing Clooney for ages, referring to him as a bad actor, and my source explains this was the Broadway communities way of giving Trump the middle finger.

Blast from the past, Heather Locklear, made a rare appearance in Canada at the Calgary Expo fan convention. The 63-year-old actress has pretty much avoided the limelight while she dealt with the fallout of some alcohol induced bad behavior. Now that she’s sober and in a better place, we heard that Heather used the expo as a way to test the waters and get back in the limelight. Remember, at one time she was the star of two top ten TV shows airing during the same week.  Heather is determined to reclaim her throne as a major TV star and is already up for two pilots.  Stay tuned.

Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet were in the news for being all over one another while sitting courtside at a Los Angeles Lakers playoff game.  Although the lovebirds didn’t bring the team any good luck (they lost and were eliminated from the playoffs) we just heard that Kylie and Timothee are secretly engaged (!)  but in typical Kris Jenner fashion, they’re keeping the news quiet until they can monetize the announcement. That explains why they couldn’t keep their hands off of each other…

For those who care about football: Sad news out of Palm Springs when former NFL star turned sports commentator, John Elway, was driving a golf cart when his friend and longtime agent, Jeff Sperbeck somehow fell off, hit his head, and passed away a few days later.  Here’s what we know. The accident happened at the posh Madison Club, a residential community in La Quinta, which is often referred to as the Beverly Hills of the desert. (Kourtney Kardashian is just one of the many wealthy residents.)  There are security cameras practically everywhere in the gated community, and now authorities are requesting to view all footage to see if John was driving erratically.  While no charges have been announced, my source says this incident is quickly being investigated.

Prince Andew’s accuser, Virginia Guiffre made the headlines when it was announced she had committed suicide.  Just heard that although the Australian authorities have closed this case, some of her family members are planning to hire private investigators as they have serious doubts that there wasn’t any foul play.  My source says that the family is already interviewing potential PI’s.

Bill Belichick and his decades younger girlfriend Jordan Hudson made big news when she interrupted an interview he was doing with CBS to promote his autobiography. Jordan leapt out of her chair and stopped the interview when Bill was asked how he and Jordan met.  Although they have claimed to have originally met on a flight to Palm Beach, we just heard that some people close to Bill aren’t buying this story and are now trying to pull flight records to see if these two were ever on the same flight, much less seated next to one another.  My source says that there’s a growing fear there’s WAY more to this story, and that Jordan seems to have a Svengali like influence over the famed football coach, so that’s why concerned ones are looking to dig up any dirt.

Disgraced former Congressman turned Cameo star, George Santos, made the news for being sentenced to 87 months in prison after pleading guilty to a litany of charges.  We have had numerous Santos scoops during his time in the spotlight and here’s another one. Although he doesn’t have to report to prison until the summer, we heard this.  George is hoping to go on a national tour before he reports.  He wants to make paid personal appearances at various venues across the country where he will tell stories and dish the dirt on what goes on behind closed doors in Congress. Long story short, he owes a lot of money in court ordered retribution and is looking for creative ways to quickly come up with the cash before he’s wearing prison stripes.
