Politics was by far and away the biggest story of the week with the Democrats retaking both the House and the Senate and all but crippling Donald Trump’s agenda.  As you already know , we have some very inside political sources in Washington DC-  so here’s what we know…

It’s incredible,  but don’t discount this one as it comes from someone very connected.  We all know the one thing Donald Trump hates more than anything is losing or being affiliated with those he perceives as losers , so soon after the historic election he confided to a pal that he may do a complete 180 and revert back to being a Democrat for the remainder of his term!  We know that sounds crazy, but let’s face it, Trump was a Democrat for decades until he decided to run for office.  If he makes the switch,  he won’t do it until after the new Congress is sworn in in January 2027.

You know the saying – that even a broken clock is right twice a day – and no one was more right than former MAGA nut job turned fairly sane person Marjorie Taylor Greene.  MTG saw the light and turned on Trump and the cuckoo MAGA movement, even resigning from Congress to avoid dealing with his antics.  She was one of the first to predict a massive disaster for the Republicans under Trump , and now I’m hearing that she’s gearing up to run for a political office –  perhaps even for the presidency.  She’s certainly not done with politics,  and feels vindicated by just how spot-on her predictions were.

Speaking of running for president, we just heard that California Governor, Gavin Newsom , was also encouraged by the astonishing election results and is gearing up to announce his own candidacy – most likely before the end of the year.  My source says he’s in it to win it , and already has lined up some powerful financial support and has all of the inner workings he will need for a campaign.

One last political update.  We can tell you that no one was happier than Marco Rubio over the election results since he feels this all but ended JD Vance’s chances of earning the Republican nomination for president in 2028.  While he would never admit it, my source reveals that Rubio was thrilled that America seemed to cast their ballots against Trump’s policies and feels Vance as the vice president is so aligned with Trump that his political career is over. Rubio is definitely running for president and will announce it soon.  He will likely resign from his role in the Trump administration.

In Hollywood news, Blake Lively made headlines when it was revealed she is winding down her Betty Booze line of spirits and mixers.  Blake’s brand is tainted ever since her Justin Baldoni lawsuit , and this is only the first of her brands to go bye-bye.  We can tell you that she’s also looking to wind down her hair care line , and has abandoned plans to launch a clothing line.  My source says she’s planning to lie low for a few years and then make a comeback.

Martha Stewart raised eyebrows for wearing a Halloween costume that received a ton of backlash.  She dressed as a bum holding a sign begging for food!  What was she thinking?  Martha made numerous excuses for the mishap but we can tell you this.  She now feels the only way to put this scandal to bed is to make a very generous donation to food shelters across the nation.  My source says you can expect a big announcement very shortly along with a more formal mea culpa.

Dakota Johnson and Machine Gun Kelly made news for being seen enjoying another romantic date, this time dinner in Calabasas.  We can tell you this.  This unlikely pairing is more serious than either is letting on , and Dakota and MGK are planning to spend the holidays together.  Dakota is also ready to introduce the tattooed rocker to her mom, Melanie Griffith. My source predicts the two will even start living together BEFORE the end of the year.
