Eric Dane’s tragic passing is still big news in Hollywood and here’s the latest on what we know.  Eric’s estranged wife, Rebecca Gayheart, is already working on a book on her life with Eric about their ups and downs, and his courageous battle with ALS.  Rebecca is planning a no hold barred tell-all where she will also write about Eric’s longtime battle with addiction and she plans to mention who showed up and who didn’t, when he was dealing with the crippling disease.

Savannah Guthrie was in the news again as the unresolved kidnapping of her mom Nancy continues to captivate the nation as a real life whodunit.  Savannah and her siblings raised the reward money to $1 million and we can tell you the folks at NBC are secretly covering the cost of the reward if the kidnapper is revealed.  For now, NBC has asked Savannah to keep their financial contribution private, but my source says it will eventually be acknowledged if and when the mystery is solved.

Lisa Rinna made headlines when she buried the hatchet with her former Bravo boss Andy Cohen on an episode of his Watch What Happens Live.  The two drama queens were feuding after Andy revealed some of Lisa’s private text messages in his recent autobiography. Lisa fired the next shot when she tossed a copy of the book into her fireplace. But now that Lisa is promoting her own autobiography, she decided it was better to have Andy as a friend.  She agreed to appear on his show and now there is talk about getting her back on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The tragic suicide of Martin Short‘s daughter Katherine caught much of Hollywood by surprise.  To say Martin is heartbroken would be an understatement.  We can tell you that his rumored girlfriend, Meryl Streep, has been by his side since news of the suicide.  Meryl has been Martin’s rock through most of this so far, and she’s cleared her schedule to stay there for as long as he needs her.

America seems to fall more in love with Olympic Gold medal winner Alysa Liu – liberals love her for her left leaning views, while conservatives adore her because she kept her political beliefs out of it and proudly represented the entire country. We are hearing that even Donald Trump is a HUGE fan, and he’s working hard to get Alysa to the White House.  Donald is always looking for some good press and sees how popular Alysa has become throughout all segments of the country.

Speaking of Donald Trump, he made the news for setting the record for the longest state of the nation address (one hour and forty-seven minutes – and arguably the most rambling one).  We heard this interesting tidbit.  Right before the televised event was about to begin Donald suffered a wardrobe malfunction when the makeup he uses to cover up the bruises on his hand rubbed off on his suit jacket.  Apparently this has happened before, so there’s usually a backup outfit on hand( pun kinda intended).

Bill Gates was in the news when he admitted to having affairs with two Russian women while still married to his wife Melinda.  Here’s what we know.  Even though he’s one of the wealthiest men in the world, Bill’s behavior and his link to pedophile Jeffrey Epstein has turned him into a social pariah.  He’s a member of a few private clubs and some have reached out to him asking him to resign.  Don’t be too surprised if it is suddenly announced he’s stepping down from some of the important Boards he sits on.
