The shocking arrest of former Prince Andrew was undoubtedly the biggest story of the week around the world, and here’s what we already know.  As we previously reported, the former royal was already under a covert suicide watch as his family was worried about his well-being.  Behind VERY closed doors a deal is already being negotiated to have Andrew spend his prison time in a guarded mental health facility instead of a jail.  This late breaking story is just starting, so we will share updates as we hear them.

Another big story was the arrest of troubled actor, Shia Labeouf, in New Orleans during Mardi Gras celebrations.  We just heard this scoop.  Shia’s friend, Armie Hammer, met with a group of other well-connected Hollywood celebrities who have battled addictions, and they arranged to send in a professional interventionist to save Shia from himself and force him into rehab.  Unfortunately, Shia caught wind of the secret plan and refused to participate. Since getting sober and cleaning up his life, Armie has become a guardian angel to fallen celebs, remember we told you he and Johnny Depp secretly helped Mickey Rourke during his recent financial crisis.

Speaking of Armie Hammer, his glamorous mom Dru was in the news when both TMZ and Page Six  reported our exclusive scoop that she was launching a podcast with a former tabloid reporter.  (Neither gave us credit by the way, but that’s a different story).  We can tell you this.  Dru is lining up celebrities who’ve faced cancel culture, and are eager to tell THEIR side of the story.  The official list of podcast guests isn’t out yet, but our well placed source reveals that Johnny Depp and Matt Lauer are planning to appear.  We can hardly wait to watch.

The late Marilyn Monroe was in the news when her former Palm Springs home was listed for sale at $3.3 million.  We know this.  None other than Ellen DeGeneres is eyeing the mid-century modern house, and hoping to add it to her extensive real estate portfolio. She’s planning on doing some remodeling before turning it into an upscale Airbnb.  She and her wife Portia de Rossi feel the novelty of spending time in Marilyn’s bedroom will be a huge draw – especially for Marilyn’s large number of gay fans who love spending time in Palm Springs.

The kidnapping of Savannah Guthrie’s mom Nancy is still a big story and we can tell you the latest development.  Investigators are focusing on a secret list of repairmen who have done work on Nancy’s home during the past year.  Apparently Nancy was doing some remodeling and home improvements, including installing a new security system, roofing, and interior painting.  The current theory is that this was someone who had previous access to the house.  My source predicts this will be solved within the week or so. (?)

Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner were talked about when they were somehow photographed at an out of the way pizza parlor in Hollywood.  We are hearing this. People close to the Oscar nominated actor are whispering in his ear that these photos seem to be set-ups, and they have a hunch that Kylie ( or someone close to her) is tipping off the paparazzi.  Remember, Timothee kept the romance with Kylie a secret for a long time, and the notoriously private actor doesn’t like the focus on his personal life.  Timothee doesn’t want to rock the boat, so he’s not telling Kylie what some of his team is thinking, but he is making more last minute changes to their plans just in case someone close to her is leaking the information to photographers.

The passing of James Van Der Beek and the news that he barely received any residuals from his hit show Dawson’s Creek was also still talked about.  Here is the latest.  His grieving widow, Kimberly is planning to turn his name and image into a brand, and market various products.  Although a recent GoFundMe campaign generated millions, Kimberly needs a renewable source of income and feels this could be the ticket.  James was known for his special pancakes, so her first product will be just that – a pancake mix!
