GENE SIMMONS CAN’T WAIT FOR THE DEATH OF RAP
Kiss singer Gene Simmons created a firestorm in the hip hop community when he commented to Rolling Stone “I’m looking forward to the death of rap!” And Gene thinks rappers have no place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. “They sample and talk – they don’t even SING!” He says he likes SOME rap but “I don’t have the cultural background to appreciate being a gangster.” The Family Jewels reality star took his wife of five years, Shannon Tweed, to the Grove for some shopping and dining.

I love the group KISS. I don’t like rap very much. Gene Simmon’s is an old extremely talented song writer, entertainer, business man and whore has the world’s biggest ego.

I can’t decide what looks more ludicrous. Gene’s comical kinky skull cap hair or Shannon’s stretched out duck lips. They both look a fright.
But I do agree with his assessment of Rap. Rap IS NOT music. It is just noise.

I agree with Gene. Rap is a low-class way of expressing anger. It all sounds alike. You don’t need any talent to Rap. We need real music and lyrics for most of us folks.
