Eric Dane recently underwent genetic testing as part of his ongoing battle with ALS, and he did it for his daughters. According to my source, Eric’s biggest fear is that his daughters will inherit the deadly disease, and he wanted to identify the specific strain that he is afflicted with so that once his young daughters are older, they will be able to get tested and see if they are carrying the same gene. While Eric is remaining as optimistic as possible, he understands that the reality is unfortunately grim, and he wanted to undergo the testing while he still could, for the sake of his family.
