Donald Trump had big plans to cash in on his own mugshot before he learned there wouldn’t BE one. He figured his mugshot would inevitably leak and other people would make money with it, so he intended to beat them to the punch. He planned to raise money for his campaign by selling mugshot merchandise immediately – t-shirts, sweats, mugs etc. The unexpected lack of a genuine mugshot didn’t stop him – his campaign store is already selling a fake mugshot t-shirt ($36) with a large assortment of mugshot merchandise to follow.
