This passenger should be bumped up to First Class immediately! Dita Von Teese arrived at Lax looking WAY better than most passengers, who favor sweats and big sneakers. Her summer frock is cool and comfortable and she’s wearing flat shoes. This is how people USED to look at airports back in the 60’s. Of course, the flights were a whole lot more comfortable and civilized in those days.

    Robert Crandall noted he worked for Bloomingdales. And I’ll bet in his day he could tell you why people dressed up when they traveled. Though, clothing styles have changed greatly to a more casual relax fit to a T-Shirt culture as well as in the winters fleece is warmer vs cotton. But, Bob has a video on YouTube explaining about his days working at Bloomingdales. As what does Dita Von Tesse know about socks ?

    How often do airline seats get cleaned? With all the food and filth left on them, who would want to wear anything but casual clothes? Wonder how many tray tables are covered in fences?

    She always looks beautiful, classy, and appropriate for the event. I don’t care about her connection to Marilyn Manson, just seeing her pictures is a treat!

    People did dress up more in the 60’s but I can tell you the flights were NOT more comfortable…..give me a modern aircraft any day. If only people now had the manners and style of the 60’s air travel could be perfect.

    I couldn’t agree with you more, Janet! The way the flying public dresses now is grotesque. So tired of seeing huge, neon-colored athletic shoes, “shorts” that are so long and baggy that they pass for culottes, and ugly t-shirts everywhere. Ugghh!

    she looked so much better as a blonde….which she was naturally… she coulda still played her retro role with that…..ala grace kelly, et al.
    seems she has a big career way more naked than in her clothes tho…… whatevs.
