The sad and sudden death of Hayden Panettiere from a reported drug overdose is sending shock waves through Hollywood , but unfortunately it isn’t surprising some people who knew her well. While Hayden was very open about her struggles with addiction, some friends began to suspect she had fallen off the wagon recently. Hayden reconnected with her ex, Brian Hickerson ,and was with him in South Carolina when she passed away. The relationship was worrisome to Hayden ‘s friends due to Brian’s admission of being abusive. This time around they both insisted they were just friends , and nothing more, but some close to Hayden weren’t buying that story. We also know Hayden never reconciled with her estranged mom. Sad story all the way around.

By the time there is apparent physical abuse, there has been a very long period of psychological abuse which is why victims go back to abusers. DV survivors need lots of help and support.

I am disappointed…was hopeful, I mean if Lindsay Lohan can make it (I had reluctantly given up on her) then Hayden should have had a chance too. It must have been a very hard existence for her.
