As expected, there was no shortage of sequins or hair at Cher’s performance in New Jersey on her Here We Go Again tour.The audience loved her and gave her an ear-splitting ovation, to which she wisecracked: “I always wonder if you’re clapping because I’m not dead yet, or because I can still fit into my costumes!”

She can hold a plank for 5 minutes.
Cher is talented. No question. But this glamorous gig is becoming a parody of herself. If you look closely, she appears to be wearng a body suit to make her look as she did 30 years ago, although not as fresh. Its reported she lip syncs some of her songs. Her show is filled with glitter and sequins and athletic dancers which are a distraction. Bette Midler in concert is much more real, genuine and entertaining without all that extraneous fluff. But her fans don’t mind and she is making a mint, but still kind of sad. I suppose she could dry her tears with thousands of Benjamins, however.
How many farewell tours are celebrities doing these days? I wouldn’t spend 10 cents on any of these “singers” who go out and lip sync to their tracks.
