RONAN FARROW VS MATT LAUER: WHO DO YOU BELIEVE?

Catch and Kill by Ronan Farrow is one of the most important books we have read this year. AT LONG LAST, someone has cared enough – and been BRAVE enough -to document some of the sex crimes perpetrated by men in powerful positions against young women. These cronies covered up for each other for a long time and less are getting away with it now, thanks to people like Ronan Farrow. Matt Lauer has long had a questionable reputation as a womanizer – we just didn’t realize how bad it was. Same with Harvey Weinstein. Both were extensively examined in the book. Now, disgruntled Matt Lauer is questioning Farrow’s reporting practices as “flawed” – hoping to raise doubts about his accuracy. Farrow’s information was fact checked and re-checked by his diligent publisher. No doubts here.

CATCH AND KILL WILL CHANGE YOUR MIND ABOUT A LOT OF PEOPLE

Rose McGowan was a presenter at The Critics Choice Awards this year and we hope she got a standing ovation. We happen to be in the middle of reading Ronan Farrow’s new book, Catch and Kill, and we will never look at some people the same way. Among them, Rose McGowan. We honestly didn’t realize how incredibly brave this actress was to stand up to the most powerful man in Hollywood, the vile Harvey Weinstein. Ronan documents how she overcame her paralyzing fear despite Weinstein’s threats, the stalkers he hired, the “spies” who pretended to help her. His smear campaign derailed her career during her biggest earning years. It was more awful than we ever imagined. HER bravery empowered other women to step forward, and THAT changed everything. Ronan’s book also reveals how disgusting The National Enquirer has become…Read it!

EAT YOUR HEART OUT WOODY ALLEN!

Mia Farrow can hardly contain herself because she’s SO proud of her son Ronan Farrow. He was honored at the New York gala for Time magazine’s 100 Most influential People of 2018 for his explosive reporting of the Harvey Weinstein scandal along with reporters Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey for the New Yorker. Oh, and did you know he also won a Pulitzer Prize for the same thing? Ronan is on top of the world right now and we can’t help wondering what his estranged father Woody Allen is thinking…

NEITHER HIS BRAINS OR HIS BLUE EYES ARE HELPING RONAN FARROW GET RATINGS

When it comes to looks, blue-eyed Ronan Farrow, 28, does look more like Frank Sinatra than Woody Allen, but when it comes to BRAINS, we think he’s definitely Woody’s son. It’s too bad Rhodes Scholar Ronan is estranged from his father Woody because Woody might be able to help him make a success of his MSNBC show. As it stands, the show, Ronan Farrow Daily, has not caught on with viewers and ratings are dismal. Only 312,000 people watched Ronan last Wednesday and most of them were over 50! A rerun of The Golden Girls did better. Sometimes being smart and articulate is just not enough.

WOODY ALLEN HAS TO BE PROUD OF HIS SON FROM A DISTANCE

Woody Allen has to be filled with regret when he thinks about his estranged son – and only biological child- with Mia Farrow. Ronan Farrow, 23, changed his name from Satchel and chose not to associate with his father after Woody married his sister Soon-Yi. It so happens Ronan inherited brains from both parents and was a child prodigy. At the age of 11 Ronan went to Bard College and at 16 was accepted to Yale Law School. He’s a humanitarian and activist at the UN working for UNICEF. Yesterday he was honored with a Rhodes Scholarship and will continue his education at Oxford. And he’s GOOD LOOKING! Woody really missed out on this one.
