Taylor Momsen, 21, meant it when she quit “Gossip Girl” in 2012 and said she wanted to perform with her band “Pretty Reckless” full time. She’s been touring nonstop ever since (her band even opened for Marilyn Manson) and hasn’t been tempted to return to acting. Above, she’s arriving at the Wiltern Theater for her concert and we have a rare glimpse of her with no makeup on.

Former Gossip Girl Taylor Momsen, 20, started acting and modeling at age 2 when her parents signed her with an agency. (She now complains that she worked all the time and had no friends or childhood.) Taylor started on Gossip Girl when she was 14 in 2007, and was gone by the fourth season to focus on her music. Her band The Pretty Reckless played at House of Blues this weekend and she looks like she could be the next Courtney Love…

Nope, that’s NOT Taylor Momsen dressed up for Halloween – that’s Taylor’s work clothes for performing with her band Pretty Reckless. Her band played at the Paper magazine party and during the show she flashed her seventeen year old bare chest with gaffer’s tape on her nipples. Very Courtney Love. Taylor’s changed a lot (photo below) since she started on “Gossip Girl” a few years ago.

There’s a REASON why “Gossip Girl” Taylor Momsen ,17, towers over everyone in this photo. Actually she’s around 5’8”, but her incredible pistol platform heels add another eight-plus inches. She’s pictured here tottering out of Radio One studios in the UK where she performed with her band “Pretty Reckless.” Presumably she’ll hook up with Madonna and Lourdes while she’s in town – Taylor is the spokes- model for their Material Girl fashion line.
