Napolean Dynamite

YOU CAN HIRE NAPOLEAN DYNAMITE’S EFREN RAMIREZ TO DJ YOUR PARTY

Efren Ramirez, who played Pedro in the 2004 cult classic Napolean Dynamite, chatted with fans at the premier of Chips in Hollywood. Not long ago Pedro and his Dynamite costar Jon Heder reunited for a Burger King ad appropriately introducing a new menu item, Cheesy Tots. It’s rumored that Efren sued his twin brother Carlos for impersonating him at public appearances a few years ago. Apparently there was a girl he wanted to impress. Last we heard the twins were still on the outs. Besides acting, Efren is also working as a DJ internationally.

WELCOME BACK NAPOLEAN DYNAMITE!

Napolean Dynamite is now a cartoon. The 2004 cult movie starring Jon Heder is being reanimated by Fox for a January debut. Heder will reprise his leading role in the animated TV version and other cast members including Efren Ramirez (Pedro) will be providing their character’s familiar voices. The movie’s director and writer are also involved in the project. It’s a smart move for Fox – the movie took in 46 million dollars and only cost $400,000 to make.

Napolean Dynamite – AKA Jon Heder, is flexing his acting muscles and other muscles too on the set of his new internet comedy series “Sockbaby.” Probably for the first time, Jon and his identical twin brother Dan are costarring – this is rare because Dan is not an actor. The series is very complicated – it involves a 70’s style detective, clones, martial arts, cartoon sequences, and an “evil group of demonic men in suits.” You’ll have to ask a 12 year old boy to explain it to you.
