Demi Lovato is living proof that not all 80’s fashions are worth resurrecting. Her bright aqua suit is tailored like denim but has monster padded shoulders and a shortie cut-off jacket. It just makes her look wider and shorter. Too bad because Demi is in fine shape right now. The good thing about bad fashion is you can take it off and forget about it.

We’d almost given up on Demi Lovato, 22, ever looking hot again, but Allure magazine has given her an astonishing makeover. When Demi shaved her head on the side she didn’t seem to know what to do with the look. But Allure stylists did. Demi has never looked more provocative. Her makeup is subtle and she’s suddenly sexy. Hopefully she’ll take some of the things she learned about beauty from Allure, home with her.

Demi Lovato’s black and blue foot turned out to be a more painful injury than she expected. Around ten days ago she slipped and fell after her roommate polished the floor with Pledge. Now she’s on crutches! But the girl is a trouper. She showed up for the grand opening of Topshop at The Grove and performed – she didn’t disappoint hundreds of waiting fans. Afterward, she reportedly met up with Wilmer Valderrama and he gave her a shoulder to lean on.

Desperate retailers have been snapping up young celebrities to develop exclusive apparel lines for their chain stores and some have been faring far better than others. Right now the Kardashians and Selena Gomez are at the bottom of the heap because their collections are featured in Sears and Kmart stores which are going out of business left and right. Demi Lovato and Gwen Stefani are doing well with their lines at Target, but the biggest winner of all: Madonna and her daughter Lourdes’s Material Girl collection at Macy’s. Their clothing line has had an excellent year and Macy’s stock is up 27.2%.
We TOLD you that Demi Lovato would be in a big fat hurry to settle the case with the dancer she punched and now it’s just about a done deal. Alex Welch only had to THREATEN to file a lawsuit and Demi’s lawyers tripped over themselves to settle to keep the whole issue out of court. It would be VERY interesting to know WHY Demi socked the back-up dancer Alex Welch and so far there has been no logical explanation. Apparently Alex will be able to do interviews AFTER the settlement is finalized, but you can bet she won’t be telling the real story.
Demi Lovato’s father has advised the dancer that Demi smacked NOT to sue his daughter, citing the fact that Demi and Disney have excellent lawyers. However, the dancer, Alex Welch, who got a black eye before Demi entered a treatment center, has no intention of giving up. From what we hear, Alex has some explosive information about Demi and their relationship that caused the outburst of violence. Demi and Disney will most certainly NOT want any of the information to be revealed, so Alex will be handsomely paid off to keep quiet.
According to our clever friend at The Real Estalker, this is the Sherman Oaks home that Demi Lovato presented to her parents on her 18th birthday last August. Her family is living comfortably in the 4000 sq foot home while she occupies the 820 ft guest cottage- far from prying eyes. Demi is currently in a rehab in Chicago that concentrates on helping young women with various physical and mental disorders. When Demi shocked everyone by checking herself into rehab, many vague explanations were offered – from bullying, to eating disorders, to anxiety and depression. Today rumors of her using cocaine surfaced. We hear the real problem (which explains everything) is WAY more interesting – and bound to leak out sooner or later.

Disney showcased their insanely popular Camp Rock star Demi Lovato Friday night at The Roxy on Sunset and when her costarring Jonas brothers slipped in the side door the club broke out in shrieks. After the show, the Disney kids including Selena Gomez, along with their mothers, handlers, and bodyguards, went upstairs to party at the private club On The Rox. Our spies reported absolutely no bad behavior. Not one of the underage Disney kids got rowdy or tried to cadge drinks. “They were totally polite.” The Jonas brothers wanted to stay and watch Nas perform later, but their people hustled them out of the club.
