COURTENEY AND JENNIFER: STILL THE BEST OF FRIENDS

We often wrote about Friends stars Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston hanging out together after filming each weeks episode of Friends back in the day. Their friendship was surprising because they didn’t seem to have a lot in common besides the show. The pair frequented a Mexican restaurant in West Hollywood that we liked also, and we often saw them eating and drinking there. That’s when we noticed there is a big difference between the two. This happened every time: When they left and went to get into their separate cars, Courteney always rushed past fans and photographers, kept her head down, didn’t speak to anyone, and sped away. Jennifer stopped to greet everyone waiting outside and patiently signed autographs for all. It took her a bit longer to get home, but it did illustrate a big difference between the friends.

JENNIFER ANISTON AND COURTENEY COX WANT TO BUY MATTHEW PERRY’S HOUSE

Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox are teaming up to buy the $6 million home in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles where their Friends costar, Matthew Perry died. According to an insider, the gals  know that Matthew loved the house and don’t want it turned into an Airbnb for morbid looky-loos, because Matthew drowned in the pool. Since money is no object, they’re hoping to purchase the house,  redo the pool and  refurbish the outside.  Both girls have made renovating homes their side hustle, so this could be a lucrative project – they plan to donate any profits to the foundation in Matthew’s name. Since pulling permits from the city can be cumbersome, Jen and Courteney are trying to buy the home from Matthew’s estate ASAP so they can start the process. Smart move – the home has already been added to one of those celebrity bus tours and tourists have been seen snapping photos of the property.

REESE WITHERSPOON HAS PLANS FOR HER THREE BEST FRIENDS

It’s cute to imagine Laura Dern, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and Reese Witherspoon all living together like a modern day version of The Golden Girls -and it just might happen in real life and onscreen. The girls, all currently single, (Courteney’s boyfriend lives in the UK) have made a pact that if they all wind up alone in their golden years, they’re going to move in together. They’ve become one of the closest foursomes in Hollywood both professionally and personally. But that’s not all! Reese wants to produce a revamped and updated version of The Golden Girls series, starring her and her three best friends. It’s in the very early development stages, but given her success with The Morning Show on Apple TV, it’s likely to wind up there.

COURTENEY COX AND JOHNNY MCDAID: SOMETHING’S GOTTA GIVE!

Courteney Cox and her Irish songwriter/musician boyfriend Johnny McDaid look deliriously happy at the BRIT Awards in London, where they were presenters. Courteney happened to be in the UK promoting Scream. They have been together since 2013 and WERE engaged but realized that HE didn’t want to move to LA and SHE didn’t want to move to the UK. It seemed hopeless and they split for a year but got back together (but not engaged) in a long-distance romance. It seems to be working. During Covid restrictions they were separated for 150 consecutive days once, but carried on. The time apart seemed to make them appreciate each other more. But now that the pandemic is winding down, it seems like one of them will be forced to make the decision to move- or else…

COURTENEY COX AND JOHNNY MCDAID MAKE IT WORK

Johnny McDaid still has Courteney Cox wrapped around his little finger. SHE says the Irish singer/songwriter has introduced her to a whole new kind of sincere love and she’s hooked. How they maintain a relationship while living 5000 miles apart is astonishing. They got engaged in 2015, but split because Johnny didn’t want to move to Los Angeles. After being apart for 6 months they reunited, but called off the engagement. Before the pandemic they flew back and forth to see each other as often as possible. When Covid struck, travel restrictions kept them apart for 9 long months – all they had was Face-time. Finally in December they got together again and have been happy back and forth ever since. Somehow they make it work…

COURTENEY COX JUST COULDN’T WAIT

For the past nine months Courteney Cox has been separated from her Irish musician boyfriend Johnny McDaid, thanks to Covid. Johnny returned home from California one day before lockdown and has been there ever since. On December 11 a video appeared on Twitter featuring Courteney and Johnny and she seems to be in the UK with him. The purpose of the video was to thank frontline workers in Johnny’s home town in Ireland. The first thing that comes to mind is: after staying safe for so long, should she have flown to see him? Are we wrong in thinking this is a bad idea?

COURTENEY COX HAD A CLOSE CALL WITH COVID

At least we know that Courteney Cox has been hunkering down during the pandemic at a magnificent (probably mid-century or modern) house in Malibu. She has a knack for buying gorgeous architectural homes that need updating, re-doing them, and selling them for a hefty profit. Early on during the pandemic, Cox and her daughter Coco invited a couple of friends to isolate with them, and after testing negative, the friends moved in. Two days later one of the guests came down with Covid and ended up deathly ill on a ventilator. The other isolated in the guest house and Courteney brought him food every day. Luckily Courteney and Coco didn’t get sick – but it was quite a scare.

DON’T LET JENNIFER ANISTON AND COURTENEY COX CATCH YOU WITHOUT A MASK!

Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox are in total agreement about dogs and masks. They both adore their dogs (these pooches are Courtney’s) and urge everyone to wear masks. Earlier, they posted a photo of a previously healthy friend named Kevin in the hospital with dozens of tubes attached to his body, suffering with Covid-19 as a warning. The Friends stars insist “We want this to END –so wear a MASK!”

COURTENEY COX OR MONICA GELLER?

Courteney Cox looks like she identifies in a big way with her character Monica Geller on Friends. Remember – Monica was known for her obsession with cleanliness and for being a neat freak. Her apartment was always spotless, and she cringed if anyone made a mess. Courtney herself was a bit of a controlling neat freak – she was known to barge in and clean her costars dressing rooms when she thought they needed it! Today Courteney and her assistant shopped for a few things at Whole Foods and Courteney wore a black facemask, glasses, a hat with a plastic shield and plastic gloves! Serious coverage…

WHO DOES CAITLYN JENNER WANT TO LOOK LIKE?

There’s been a lot of discussion this week about fans mistaking Courteney Cox for Caitlin Jenner in a photo that David Spade posted on Instagram. Courtney had a sense of humor about it and we’re sure than Caitlyn was flattered. To be honest, we always though Caitlyn Jenner got her fashion inspiration from Helen Hunt. They’re both slim and athletic, (golf, anyone?) have similar hairstyles, and often wear athletic apparel. Actually, Caitlyn could do no wrong looking like either Courteney or Helen…
