BTS? NOPE. IT’S THE NEW K-POP BAND TXT!

No surprise that a cute South Korean boy band visited Good Morning America this week. But this time is was not BTS, the band that always draws a huge and emotional crowd of fans. This group of adorable faces belongs to Tomorrow X Together TXT. Last month BTS announced they were going on hiatus “to pursue solo projects.” They’ve been together for 9 years and say they have all “changed” (grown up) and have new ideas. Their fans were distraught, but TXT is more than ready to fill the void!

BTS SANG AND DANCED IN THE STREET IN HOLLYWOOD

We drive past the busy Hollywood intersection in front of CBS on Beverly Blvd almost every day, but today the whole block was closed off for filming while honking cars waited on all sides. Big AMA winners BTS, dressed in black and yellow, took over the block dancing under the direction of Late Late Show host James Corden, who joined in the dance himself. Those big yellow letters above spelled out BUTTER- the record-breaking song by the group. Total hysteria in the neighborhood was avoided because BTS pretty much danced in a hurry and quickly departed.

KOREAN BOY BAND BTS JUST BROKE ALL YOUTUBE RECORDS

As if the Korean boy band BTS weren’t popular enough, they just released the music video for their FIRST all English single called Dynamite and set a NEW RECORD, cultivating 102 million views in the first day, according to YouTube. That makes Dynamite the first YouTube song EVER to get over 200 million views within the first 24 hours. It also became the fastest song ever to reach number one in 100 countries! These lucky boys are now working on their new album and we bet they are all taking crash courses in English.
