When we heard that Billy Porter was the big winner at The Attitude Awards in the UK, it set our imagination racing. What on earth ARE The Attitude Awards? Turns out, Attitude is a gay lifestyle magazine (since 1994) and they have a big award show in London each year. The show “celebrates people making an impact in the LGBTQ community and supporters of the community.” (so in this situation “attitude” does NOT mean arrogant or antagonistic.) Actor/singer/fashion icon Billy Porter was named MAN OF THE YEAR and his personal style livens up any event…

BILLY PORTER WOULDN’T LEAVE TOWN WITHOUT IT

Billy Porter put on quite a show at the Oscars – his extravagant attire was the talk of the red carpet, and he performed in the opening musical number with Janelle Monae. After the show, he changed into yet another outrageous outfit and went on to party all night. The next day he had a London flight to catch, but he made time to stop at the West Hollywood Med Men marijuana dispensary to pick up a bagful of goodies for the road!

BILLY PORTER: WHAT’S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?

Broadway star (Kinky Boots) and fashion icon Billy Porter is always immaculately groomed and dressed to kill – on or off the red carpet. He’s an expert at grand entrances, but nobody’s perfect ALL the time. Billy was snappily attired and minding his own business today, looking successful in New York, but he made a FATAL ERROR that detracted enormously from his good looks- he was PICKING HIS TEETH with a dental floss pick as he walked down the street! Yikes!

Billy Porter Jennifer Coolidge Like a Boss Movies Rose Byrne Salma Hayek Tiffany Haddish

“LIKE A BOSS” WRITERS KNOW NOTHING ABOUT WOMEN

The new comedy Like a Boss starts out with an arresting premise: female college buddies start a creative cosmetic business that prospers. Tiffany Haddish and Rose Byrne are the owners and Jennifer Coolidge and Billy Porter are employees –sounds like FUN, right? Hopes for fun are dashed by the dreadful script. Women would LOVE to identify and root for these characters and the stellar actors try their BEST, but the brainless script is downright embarrassing. The plot meanders, the dialog is raunchy and trite, and will somebody please tell these male writers that when female friends get together they don’t talk about vaginas all night! Salma Hayek REALLY overacts- even the music is lame. We pity the cast that has to go around promoting this well-intentioned but awful, movie.
