“ALBERT NOBBS” IS NOT THE MAN HE APPEARS TO BE

The timing is right for a gender switching movie and Glenn Close, 64, (“Fatal Attraction”) looks surprisingly plausible playing a man in “Albert Nobbs.” The movie tells the story of an English woman who disguises herself as a man (Nobbs) to get a job as a butler in 19th century Ireland. The plot thickens when she is told she must share a bed with a visiting man who discovers her secret. There are many romantic and dramatic and amusing complications to follow. 1. I don’t think I will see the movie. For some reason it make me think of all those boy & girl celebrities that are crammed into that big ole scientology closet.

  2. What a stupid name and an even more stupid premise! I’ll definitely pass.

  3. Without sexual harrassment was the reason behind this movie and she was raped as a woman and just wanted to be treated with respect and niceness and zero push for sex in the future.

  4. She-He worked so hard for that money for so many years and really never had a chance once that money was made and the cheap land lady was a hard ass…Who cared for no one and got over good on every one and taking advantage of other people and milking them for every little bite she could get…

  5. A man back on those days made much more money then woman did and so she put up an front and got away with it for years and was able to live a pieceful and cheap life style without being bothered or having your boss want to sleep with you….She was protecting some one she cared about and got hit in the head and soon died of a tumor.

  6. That story was really sad because that person did not get to enjoy there life the way it should had been down the road but adlease his friends took over and was able to help that girl and the baby at the end.
