What WAS The Hollywood Reporter thinking when they published this Kathy Griffin cover? We happen to support Kathy and her story inside is fascinating. But this cover photo is so dramatically over- airbrushed that we barely recognize her! (A young Annie Lennox?) It’s BEYOND flattering but – HELLO – this is a news magazine, NOT a fashion magazine! Kathy, 57, is probably delighted with her extremely youthful appearance, but it detracts from the honesty of her story – AND the honesty of the magazine.

    Ah, but in person Kathy’s skin looks like an albino clutch purse; this HR effort belongs in the Photo-shopped Hall of Fame. 😀

    As we’ve pointed out before, her income has taken a DEVASTATING hit. Was it fatal? Time will tell, but Bel Air mansions don’t pay for themselves and Griffin’s no heiress (though she looks the spitting image of her ex-partner in crime Anderson Cooper these days)! 🙁

    Janet, how can you support the symbolic beheading of the President? She was wrong to do it, and you are just as wrong if you support her. I hope no one hires her again, but I see the beginning of her self-redemption with this article. Would it have been acceptable if she did the beheading of President Obama? No, I thought not. If it’s not acceptable for one person, it should not be for another. I don’t usually comment on this POS because it just gives her the attention she was so clearly denied at home.She should just stay home as a public service.
