THE BATES MOTEL NEVER GOES OUT OF BUSINESS


Fascination with Alfred Hitchcock’s 1960 film “Psycho” never seems to end and after numerous remakes and documentaries on the horror-fest, we now have a TV series. A&E promises their new 10 episode series, “Bates Motel,” is a prequel to the movie and will examine sensitive young Norman Bates (he’s in high school) and his twisted relationship with his mother. UK actor Freddie Highmore is playing Norman and Vera Farmiga is his mother. We already anticipate a rush on Bates Motel towels next year…

    That’s a very unpopular notion in some parts here Patrick. However I believe the right of babies to be safe in their kindergarten class outweighs the Second Amendment and the right to bear arms. Always have, always will.

    My heart is breaking for the people of Newtown, CT.
