ALICIA SILVERSTONE BATHES WITH HER SON

The most astonishing news today has nothing to do with the Black Lives Matter protests or the coronavirus – we are flabbergasted because Alicia Silverstone offhandedly remarked to the New York Times that she TAKES BATHS WITH HER 9 YEAR OLD SON! (His name is Bear) That’s how they pass the time during social isolation. Does anyone else find this alarming? Call me old-fashioned, but I simply cannot imagine a nine year old boy and his mother nude in a bathtub together and having a normal relationship. If this were a father and his 9 year old daughter it would be against the law, wouldn’t it? A very odd revelation to make to the New York Times…

CASEY AFFLECK TRIES TO BE A DECENT FATHER

There’s something fascinating about celebrities shopping in supermarkets – in fact, one of the fun advantages of living in LA is the possibility of running into a movie star while grocery shopping. Luke Perry once absentmindedly tossed his apples in my shopping cart at Ralph’s. Casey Affleck keeps his two sons far from Hollywood events but he does shop with them. It’s amazing that a photographer noticed Casey and his long-haired son Indiana, 16, because his beard makes him look like every other guy. (The Oscar winner has been somewhat undercover since he was accused of sexual harassment) The Afflecks were shopping at Gelson’s – the same store Brad Pitt and Dita Von Teese frequent.

We didn’t realize that Camryn Manheim (“The Practice”) had a good looking teenage son! Camryn is no fool- when she decided she wanted to be a single mom, she found the perfect sperm donor: a handsome gay model who was an old friend of hers! Milo Manheim, 18, got both good looks and acting talent from his mom – and he’s already establishing an acting career. Milo, who’s 6’2’, starred as Zed in the Disney Channel’s movie Zombies, and it was such a hit that the sequel is about to be released.

Family Nick Cave Son

NICK CAVE’S PERSONAL TRAGEDY

Can’t remember the last time we saw goth-rocker Nick Cave with his wife, designer Susie Bick, and his son Earl,19, so it was nice to see them at the LACMA Art & Film Gala. We didn’t realize that the family survived an awful tragedy four years ago. Earl’s twin brother Arthur was only fifteen when he experimented with LSD, became disoriented, fell off a cliff and died not far from the family home in the UK. Susie was so distraught she nearly gave up her fashion business, but she says it was her work that eventually helped her heal. Nick says the experience changed him and his music forever.

Pharrell Williams is a frequent participant and unlike many celebs, he has more on his mind than being photographed looking like a generous person. Pharrell and his wife brought their son
Rocket to volunteer with them at the Easter meal on Good Friday to teach him about giving back.

NAOMI WATTS’ SONS ARE LUCKY TO HAVE HER

As usual Naomi Watts picks up her youngest son Kai, 10, and walks him home from school in Manhattan. Nobody seems to talk about the fact that Kai wears girls’ clothing and often carries a handbag. Naomi appears to be a great mom and she accepts the situation, allowing Kai to make his own decisions. Hollywood moms like Naomi, Charlize Theron, and Angelina Jolie, who openly love and support their gender-fluid children, set a good example for parents everywhere in the same position.

BRIGITTE NEILSEN AND SOME OF HER MEN

Brigitte Neilsen, 55, and her husband Mattia Dessi, 39, and her son Douglas Meyer, 25, had lunch together in Beverly Hills. Douglas is her son with her fourth husband Raoul Meyer – she has three other grown sons. In June, Brigitte gave birth to her first daughter, Frida, with her current husband of fourteen years, Mattia. She speaks several languages, so Brigitte has made quite a living doing reality shows in the US, Italy, Germany, and Denmark. Brigitte, Mattia and Frida are currently living in Palm Springs.

DUSTIN HOFFMAN’S LOOKALIKE SON #2

Dustin Hoffman has yet another lookalike son working to make a name for himself in the film industry. We’re familiar with his brother Jake, but we don’t often see 31 year old Max Hoffman. Max studied film at Brown University and also at the School of Performing Arts in Prague. He’s an aspiring actor and director and has been living in New York, working in theater. He’s not much taller than his diminutive dad Dustin, but he’s got some big dreadlocks.

PAMELA ANDERSON’S SONS GOT THE BEST OF BOTH PARENTS

There’s no doubt about it, the gene pool of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee produced some nice looking young men. Pam’s two sons Dylan, 18, (left) and Brandon, 19, (on the right) are equally hot. Pam says she plans to have them both get educated and learn about humility before they strike off on their own. Hedi Slimane, the creative director for Saint Laurent, has already tapped Dylan to be the face of his upcoming collection. Besides appearing in beach ads, Dylan will walk the runway for the first time February 10 when Hedi shows his collection at The Palladium in Hollywood, also for the first time.
