RIHANNA AND ROCKY KNOW HOW TO SHOP TOGETHER

On Sunday night, Rihanna and ASAP Rocky decided to do some hasty holiday shopping and they popped into the CVS Pharmacy we frequently visit in West Hollywood, right before closing time. To maintain their privacy, they immediately separated and each grabbed a shopping cart as they patrolled different aisles. (Rocky took charge of their son Riot) They bought lots of wrapping paper, gift boxes, ribbon, and bags, plus colorful kids toys, and assorted doodads. And they checked out separately to keep SOME of their purchases under wraps…

Angelina Jolie Paris Private Shopping

ANGELINA JOLIE SHOPS TILL SHE DROPS

We can tell by the number of paparazzi photos we see of Angelina Jolie and her kids shopping that the family really loves to shop. Angelina and the kids are in Paris this week and she coaxed a large consumer electronics store called Darty (like our Best Buy?) to stay open from 10 to midnight so that she and Pax could browse alone with no other customers. Darty specializes in household appliances,TVs, home goods, etc at reasonable prices. One person who cannot anticipate a Christmas gift from Darty is, of course, Brad Pitt.

KAMALA HARRIS AND HER NO-NONSENSE WARDROBE

Vice President Kamala Harris needs a lot of clothes now that she’s running for President and some of them might be YOURS. Kamala is very eco-conscious and isn’t a fan of fast fashion (it takes a terrible toll on the environment) so her stylists are scouring online resale sites like eBay, looking for gently worn finds. Kamala knows that unlike her male counterparts, she’ll be scrutinized for her fashion choices, so she’s sticking to tailored suits in neutral colors. The demands of campaigning require an extensive wardrobe, and Kamala is legally required to spend her own funds on personal items like clothing, so she’s instructed her stylists to look for reasonably priced items. If she’s elected, we predict that designers everywhere will be bombarding her with free samples…

Bianca Jagger Discount Mick Jagger Shopping The Garment District

A REVEALING MICK JAGGER MEMORY

Yesterday was Mick Jagger’s 81st birthday and he’s still going strong with his girlfriend of ten years, Melanie Hamrick. Former Ballerina Melanie (age “around 37”) and Mick have a seven year old son. His earlier marriage to Bianca Jagger didn’t last that long – and we think we know why. We had a Rock n Roll clothing store on Sunset Strip in the 70’s called The Garment District, (across from Tower Records) and one day Mick and Bianca came in. Bianca immediately gathered up a huge assortment of clothing and dumped it on my desk, asking “What discount can you give me?” We replied “Sorry, no discounts.” She refused to buy anything without a discount, and left all the clothing for me to hang up. Meanwhile Mick had picked out a t-shirt he liked that came in several colors, and he couldn’t decide whether to buy it in blue or green. After examining both VERY carefully, he purchased one $20 shirt. You’d think with all his money he would have purchased both, without a thought! He was frugal, but very nice, and never asked for a discount. We weren’t surprised when he and Bianca divorced a few years later…

CHER AND CHROME HEARTS: A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN

Cher has become a major fan of home shopping and she doesn’t even have to turn on her TV. Although Cher has hawked various products on HSN over the years, her latest version of home shopping has the stores coming to her! It’s no secret Cher’s a huge fan of Chrome Hearts, and as we have previously reported, she’s turned her boyfriend, Alexander Edwards on to it as well. Since Covid, the flagship stores have a by appointment only policy, and that just doesn’t work for Cher, so whenever she’s in the mood to shop she has her salesclerk schlepp the stuff to her in Malibu. According to my source, over the past few months she ‘s dropped over $300,000 on clothing and jewelry for her and A.E.

What’s pink, and shaped like a heart? The diamond that Travis Kelce is hoping to use to propose to Taylor Swift with! Our source reveals that Travis has started diamond shopping with plans to propose to Taylor either over the upcoming Christmas holidays or more likely Valentine’s Day, 2024. He’s very specific that he wants to get a pink diamond cut in the shape of a heart. The rare color sells for substantially more than colorless diamonds so a 5 carat pink stone could easily set Travis back a few million dollars. The stones are quite rare so Travis has been working with an Israeli based diamond broker in hopes of finding the perfect sparkler.

Meghan Markle Prince Harry Real Estate

MEGHAN AND HARRY ARE STILL SHOPPING FOR REAL ESTATE

We were first to tell you that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were real estate shopping in Malibu (TMZ reported it months later) and now we will be the first to give you an update. Meg and Harry have decided to keep their Montecito compound instead of relocating to Malibu, but they’re now looking at condos in the most LUXURIOUS and high security buildings in Los Angeles. This includes the residences at The Four Seasons in Beverly Hills and The Pendry residences on the Sunset Strip. Both properties are adjacent to 5 star hotels so residences get all those delicious hotel amenities (like 24 hr room service, concierge and laundry.) The sociable couple are looking for a pied a terre where they can rest their heads after nights out in Los Angeles, and their budget is around $10 million.

During the holidays you are likely to bump into a lot of celebrities doing their shopping in Beverly Hills. Judge Judy is one who can can shop with gay abandon because SHE has 440 million dollars in the bank! When her courtroom series ended in 2021, she was the highest paid person on television. Ben Affleck Honeymoon Jennifer Lopez Kids Paris Shopping

IS THIS THE PERFECT FAMILY, OR WHAT?

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck didn’t spend ALL their time smooching in Paris, where they’re honeymooning with four of their kids. Jennifer brought her twins Max and Emme, and Ben brought his two daughters Seraphina and Violet – he left his young son Sam at home. From all the photos we’ve seen, the kids seem to get along really well and love to hang out together. Ben and Jen took their blended family shopping and after visiting Dior and an art supply store (for Serephina) they visited Micromania– a popular video game retailer. Ben stocked up on games (for Sam at home?) while their eagle-eyed bald bodyguards (above) looked on. You can see Emme in the shop doorway and Max is next to Ben. Crowds gather outside the Costes Hotel in Paris to watch the honeymooners coming and going.

JENNIFER LOPEZ: ISN’T DRIVING IN LA RISKY ENOUGH?

Nice to see that busy Jennifer Lopez finds time to shop with her daughter Emme- the pair hit the funky end of Melrose Avenue to look for vintage clothing at Jet Rag. Emme has eclectic taste and she’s not all about designer fashion like her mother. However, as Jennifer was getting into her car we were struck by the sight of her 8 inch platform summer shoes. Are they REALLY safe for driving? We can imagine all sorts of bad things happening…any opinions out there?
