LARRY KING’S STRAPPING SONS: DADDY’S RICH AND MOM’S GOODLOOKING

It’s a good thing Larry King, 84, has such an attractive wife (Shawn, 58) because his sons inherited a lot of her good looks. Shawn is Larry’s seventh wife and despite a few bumps in the road, they’ve managed to stay married since 1997. Incredibly, BOTH brothers (Cannon, 20, on the left, and Chance, 21, right) are amazing baseball players and they were both drafted into major league baseball by the White Socks while in high school. To their credit, they both passed up the opportunity and chose to go to college instead.

LARRY KING’S SON CHANCE WAS DRAFTED BY THE CHICAGO WHITE SOX

Larry King, 83, is super-proud of his son Chance, 20, who was recently drafted by the Chicago White Sox baseball team. 6’2” Chance towers over his father. (Larry’s younger son Cannon, 18, is also a baseball player.) Chance attended IMG Academy, a sport training prep school in Florida and swears he will go to college in spite of the draft. Chance’s mother is tall and beautiful Shawn Southwick – Larry’s eighth and current marriage. We suspect the boys inherited their athleticism from Shawn. Ironically, Shawn was accused of having an affair with her sons’ baseball coach seven years ago and she and Larry nearly divorced, but changed their minds. That guy must have been QUITE a coach, in more ways than one!

Larry King took his strapping fifteen year old son Cannon to dinner at Craig’s restaurant. Larry, 81, and his wife Shawn Southwick seem to be back together in a good place. It was just five years ago that the 8 times married King and his wife BOTH filed for divorce. There were stories that he cheated with Shawn’s SISTER, and Shawn was said to be fooling around with her sons’ baseball coach. After enduring all that scandalous gossip, they decided to stay together and raise their two boys Cannon and Chance.

Cannon seems to take after his tall mother Shawn Southwick, 55, who happens to be Larry’s eighth and longest lasting wife. Larry and Shawn ALMOST divorced a few years ago when they accused each other of cheating, but they reconciled and seem fine ever since.

We still find it hard to believe that they are still a happy family after their huge divorce scandal a few years ago. Shawn accused Larry of cheating with her own sister (true) and Shawn was accused to having an affair with their sons’ sexy baseball coach. They BOTH filed for divorce in a rage and a few months later decided to call it off and stay together. We think Chance looks a little like Larry.

On Sunday, Larry King and his estranged wife Shawn were very chummy at yet another of their kids’ Little League games. Now that BOTH of them have had their dirty laundry aired in public, they seem to have calmed down. Cheating on both sides put them on equal footing and dissolved a lot of resentment. The fact that they have been equally maligned by the press may have drawn them together. At this point, friends won’t be surprised if they drop the idea of getting divorced. Why bother? This is Larry King’s 12 million dollar house in Beverly Hills that his wife Shawn will most likely get in their divorce. The Tuscan style home has 9500 sq ft, 7 bedrooms and 9 baths. Larry selected this place because he can walk to Nate n’ Al’s deli for breakfast with his cronies every morning. According to TMZ, Larry called the cops this morning because paparazzi were waiting outside and he couldn’t leave for breakfast. So Nate N’ Al delivered his food. And the waitresses there have been warned not to talk about their steady customer.

DIVORCE MYSTERY: HOW DID LARRY KING’S MARRIAGE LAST THIS LONG?

To tell you the truth, we’re GLAD to see that Larry King, 76, and his wife Shawn Southwick, 50, are divorcing after 13 years together. Actress/singer Shawn happens to be a surprisingly nice person who put her own career on hold to take care of Larry, their two sons, and their home. Larry never seemed to realize how incredibly LUCKY he was to have her, because he’s so wrapped up in his own important self. It was all about Larry all the time.
