KIRSTIE ALLEY: A SLAVE TO SCIENTOLOGY

Have to admit we were shocked and saddened by the sudden loss of Kirstie Alley. We always WANTED to like Kirstie (loved her on Cheers) but Scientology got in the way. We remember when Kirstie talked about the mass shooting in Las Vegas. Scientologists have an inexplicable hatred of psychiatrists and Kirstie said she believed that since violence is a common side effect of psychiatric drugs, (her words, not mine) the the mass shooting was likely due to psychiatric drug use – not guns! She also cut off her friendship with her Dancing with the Stars partner Maks because he was friendly with Jennifer Lopez, and Jennifer was friendly with anti-Scientologist Leah Remini. Sad, but true.

Elizabeth Moss Scientology

ELIZABETH MOSS GETS AWAY WITH BEING A SCIENTOLOGIST

For some reason Elizabeth Moss has been able to work non-stop in Hollywood (Mad Men, The Handmaid’s Tale, and now Shining Girls) and she has escaped all the negative comments about being a Scientologist that Tom Cruise and John Travolta have to live with. Perhaps she gets off easy because she is a second generation Scientologist – she was BORN into it. Also it helps that she politely avoids talking about it in interviews- the most specific thing she has said lately is that Scientology is “misunderstood.” She claims it is not a closed off religion – it is welcoming. (Sure, if you’re willing to take a “personality” test and give them money) We remember back in the 90’s when we broke the news that Tom Cruise was a Scientologist in Star Magazine- the church’s lawyers managed to illegally obtain a copy of my personal phone bill from the phone company and they found the name of my source (a former Scientologist) in order to punish her.

Saturday Night Live Scientology

OH NO! SNL’S CHLOE FINEMAN IS A SCIENTOLOGIST!

Sorry to reveal that the hottest new addition to the Saturday Night Live cast, Chloe Fineman, is a lifelong Scientologist and the “church” is taking credit for her success! Chloe’s parents are influential and dedicated Scientologists and Chloe herself is already “clear” – a high ranking member. She was a student at their Acting Center and the church boasts about getting her on SNL, although she DID graduate from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2011! Keep in mind, SNL has made fun of Scientology in the past and Chloe is the first Scientologist cast member that we know of. This could be interesting…

CAN JOHN TRAVOLTA FILL JOHN GOTTI SR’S ITALIAN SHOES?

We were floored to hear that John Travolta is first choice to play the “Dapper Don,” John Gotti Sr, in the story of his life. The film’s executive producer Marc Fiore and John Gotti Jr, along with director Nick Cassavetes, met with Travolta at an Italian restaurant in LA to discuss the deal. Junior Gotti wants John to play his father and he’d like James Franco to play himself! (Imagine THAT ego!) We had no idea that Junior Gotti was so open minded – he has no objection to casting a Scientologist of questionable sexual preference to play his legendary mobster father! And WHO will play Victoria Gotti – Charlize Theron?
