PARIS HILTON WANTS US TO BELIEVE HER FIANCEE CAN AFFORD A 2 MILLION DOLLAR RING

Apparently the idea of three pregnant Kardashians pretending NOT to want publicity was more than Paris Hilton could tolerate. Ever since the Kardashians rose to reality stardom and bumped Paris off the gossip pages, she’s been privately irritated. Being the “it girl” was fun, not only did she have paparazzi following her everywhere, but her fame brought her tons of money in perfume deals, etc. Paris decided the time was right for a comeback, so she arranged to have her “surprise?” engagement to actor Chris Zylka artfully photographed with an appealing Aspen background and distributed. As if that weren’t tasteless enough, she had the PRICE of her ring advertised everywhere by the publicity hungry jeweler – c’mon, does anybody really believe it’s worth two million dollars? And where would the not-so-famous actor Zylka get anywhere NEAR that kind of money?

KRIS HUMPHRIES TRIUMPH: KIM GAVE THE RING BACK!

According to our determined colleague CJ of the Star-Tribune in Minneapolis, (Kris Humphries’ home town) a humongous diamond ring estimated to be worth around two million dollars, is about to be auctioned off at Christie’s in New York. And it is the same Lorraine Schwartz ring that Kim Kardashian had on her finger and refused to return when she left Kris and called off her 72 day marriage. Apparently she DID return the ring because she wanted to finalize the divorce in a hurry. We – and Kris- will be interested to see what the ring is worth today.

Kat Von D has nineteen reasons to keep the 4.5 karat Neil Lane engagement ring that Jesse James gave her and she’s gonna put up a fight. She called off their engagement when she caught him cheating, but recently tweeted that she has discovered a total of 19 different women that he fooled around with with during the year they were together. Now she’s REALLY angry. She kept the ring when they split and Jesse is demanding it back. Kat won’t budge and friends predict the battle will get ugly.

Before she celebrated her 29th birthday last weekend, Paris Hilton was dropping hints like mad that she wanted an engagement ring from her boyfriend Doug Reinhardt. (Although Doug, from The Hills, doesn’t seem like much of a catch – Paris always wanted to marry a billionaire) Paris probably WILL get that ring before she turns 30 because our illustrious colleague in Las Vegas, Norm Clarke, has heard that she is shopping around a reality show that will feature their wedding preparations and ceremony.
