ANDY COHEN IS SEARCHING FOR A TRANSGENDER “REAL HOUSEWIFE “

It’s only taken 17 years, but my Bravo source says the network and Andy Cohen are getting ready to shake things up with the popular Real Housewives franchise. While bisexual and lesbian housewives have already been featured, Andy has put out a secret casting call looking for a married transgender housewife to join one of the franchises. My source says that Andy is open to casting an MTF (male to female) housewife in ANY of the show’s incarnations, meaning it could be in Beverly Hills, Atlanta, New Jersey or any other city they feature. Andy’s dream transgender housewife must be MARRIED to a MAN and live an over-the-top lavish lifestyle – meaning Caitlyn Jenner need not apply…

ANOTHER REASON TO LOVE CHELSEA HANDLER: NO REAL HOUSEWIVES ALLOWED!

Chelsea Handler has banned all of Bravo’s Real Housewives from appearing on her show Chelsea Lately. She even made it clear to Bravo’s Andy Cohen when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live that she wants nothing to do with the Housewives. “I’m not interested in anything they have to say.” Chelsea thinks the entire Housewives franchise is “sick” and “a terrible thing.” Apparently she’s not fond of vacuous, bickering women with to much plastic surgery.

REAL HOUSWIVES SONGS AREN’T BURNING UP THE CHARTS

Ever since Atlanta “Real Housewives” participant Kim Zolciak recorded “Tardy for the Party,” other Housewives in the franchise have been scrambling to top her digital song sales of 101,000 downloads. Washington’s Michaele Salahi, despite her Journey connections, only had 122 downloads of her song “Bump It.” (Although that may improve with her love scandal) New Jersey Housewife Melissa Gorga has her own recording studio in her home, but her song “On Display” has so far had 8000 downloads. (Sister-in-law Teresa must be thrilled.)
