JERSEY SHORE’S PAULY D: TOTAL MAKEOVER …OR JUST A DYE JOB?

Jersey Shore’s Pauly D has a whole new look, so naturally The Sun tabloid called in a plastic surgeon to figure out what he might have had done to change his face. Often women change their hair color or cut to distract attention when they have had plastic surgery. So it’s interesting that Pauly just grew a beard and dyed his hair blond before showing off his new look. The cosmetic surgeon decided that Pauly must have had an eyelift and fillers, along with “abdominal etching” on his abs (not shown here.) The Jersey Shore gang LOVES spending their money on cosmetic procedures – the girls have had a lot done, and Ronnie had lipo on his six-pack abs via The Doctors show also.

In case you ever wonder what happened to Jersey Shore’s Pauly D, he’s a multi millionaire! In March, Pauly handed over nearly 500,000 dollars for his dream car: a Lamborghini. According to Forbes, he’s consistently among the top ten earning DJ’s in the world. He currently has a steady job as DJ at the Rehab Pool & Dayclub at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, where he’s also been able to maintain the tan of his dreams.

JERSEY SHORE’S PAULY D IS NOT SHIRKING HIS RESPONSIBILITIES

It turns out former Jersey Shore party boy Pauly D, is more of a stand up guy than we thought. A one night fling with a cocktail waitress resulted in his first child and after a DNA test validated the fact, Pauly has been supporting the five month old baby girl. Now Pauly hopes to take the mother to court in Las Vegas because he wants full custody of the child – he thinks she’s not a fit mother. (She’s 25, and according to TMZ, also has another child.) Not many young single guys would want that responsibility, but Pauly is serious about his child. (Click HERE to see the baby who happens to look a lot like Pauly)

ABERCROMBIE & FITCH’S LAME PUBLICITY STUNT BACKFIRES

Business must be lousy at Abercrombie & Fitch if the company is trying to use Jersey Shore’s The Situation to get some free publicity. Someone at the company “leaked” the rumor that A&F offered to pay the Jersey Shore gang NOT to wear their label. The Situation, who often wears their sweats, wasn’t the least bit offended and swears he never heard a word from the company about any offer. Pauly D pointed out that A&F sold a GTL (gym, tanning, laundry) t- shirt inspired by the show a few seasons ago. Just a lame publicity stunt, but what’s shocking is how influential The Situation has become…

NOTHING CAN STOP THE JERSEY SHORE STEAMROLLER OF SUCCESS

Time for a Jersey Shore update. The cast was set to leave for Florence, Italy, on April 18 to tape the next series, but the fact that Snooki, The Situation, and Pauly D had not settled their contracts caused MTV to postpone filming until May. Since Snooki (along with Jenni) and Pauly D have their own 12 episode spin-offs coming to MTV, we have a feeling they will cooperate. But The Situation might be a tad resentful. Rumors that the hotels and bars in Florence aren’t cooperating with MTV’s attempts to arrange for filming are unfortunate. If they only knew how the shore businesses the cast visited have FLOURISHED, they might reconsider. We hear the bars, restaurants, and the t-shirt store are still raking in big bucks thanks to Jersey Shore fame.

JERSEY SHORE’S PAULY D GOT A MAKEOVER – AND LOOKS HOT!

It might not seem important to you, but to Jersey Shore’s Pauly D it was a very big deal having his hair restyled for GQ. The magazine gave all the guys on the show fashion makeovers for a photo spread, but Pauly was the only one who got a new hairstyle. He was reportedly very reluctant and unhappy about giving up his signature blow-out with tons of gel, even temporarily, but he was a good sport. And he looks surprisingly handsome this way.

Being on a paid vacation is great but they have to do it WITHOUT cell phones, or TV, or internet access! As much as they will miss their housemates and all that nightclub creepin,’ they are desperate to get back to civilization and electronics.

Contract Jersey Shore Money MTV Negotiation Pauly D Snooki The Situation

HOW MANY OF THE JERSEY SHORE ORIGINALS RETURN TO WORK, REMAINS TO BE SEEN

We’re not certain that the phrase “the cream is rising to the top” is appropriate in this case, but the most popular of the Jersey Shore gang are making out like bandits in their new contract negotiations. The whole gang refused to work on the show last weekend until they have signed contracts. MTV wants the incredibly successful show to continue into a 3rd season and they are arguing that if the stars are wealthy they won’t be so likeable or appealing. That doesn’t fly with the Jersey kids who want to cash in while they can. Snooki, The Situation, and Pauly D are the most popular of the group. (Note they are seated dead center in The View photo above) They are expected to at least triple their current $10,000 per episode salaries. Snooki and The Situation have already settled on deals they like and Pauly D will soon follow. If the “less important” members of the Jersey cast ask for too much, they might not be invited to return. And if there is a big difference in salaries, how will it affect their relationships? MTV has a lot to consider.
