CAN CARRIE BRADSHAW SAVE “AND JUST LIKE THAT?”

SOMEBODY (Kim Cattrall) looks really happy that her friend Patricia Fields (with the hat on) is NOT doing wardrobe for the new SATC revival And Just Like That. Fields was responsible for the eye-popping fashion innovations that made the series so delicious to watch. Kim disappointed everyone when she turned down the movie, and Patricia did too – but she had a good excuse. Fields says she’s too busy working as costume designer for Emily in Paris. From what we’ve seen so far, the wardrobe for And Just Like That is NOT thrilling, but we’ll give it more time. (We’re just happy to see the SATC women again) The question is: Can the revival succeed without Kim and Patricia? We hope so…

CAITLYN GOES PLACES BRUCE JENNER WOULD NEVER GO

Caitlyn Jenner filmed a segment for “E” at Patricia Field’s store in New York. Caitlin must have liked it – she walked in wearing one outfit and walked out wearing this one! We’ve been shopping at Patricia Fields for YEARS and this store has something for everyone. Flashy glamorous colorful club clothes, destructed punk, whimsical t-shirts, and one-of–a–kind items galore. Plus wigs of every color and glitzy makeup and high heels in all sizes. They feature big sizes for trans customers and many salesclerks are drag queens. So it’s an easy place for just about anyone with a sense of humor to shop. Caitlyn hired a nice looking bodyguard to accompany her and help her navigate safely in high heels. Bruce Jenner probably never set foot in this place.

PATRICIA FIELDS MADE SARAH JESSICA PARKER FASHIONABLE

Perhaps the most important contributor to the success of the “Sex & the City“ franchise since day one has been fearless designer Patricia Fields. Red-haired Patricia’s incredible creativity gave style and substance to all four leading ladies and made Jimmy Choo, and many other designers, a household name. Pat showed up at the premier of movie #2 with her entourage, who are sporting her inventive ideas.
