JODIE FOSTER CAME OUT OF HER SHELL – AND HER CLOSET

Coming out was the best thing that ever happened to Jodie Foster, 52. Before she acknowledged being gay (although just about everyone in Hollywood knew she was and couldn’t care less) she was evasive and suspicious. She was secretive and avoided any kind of questions about her personal life. She didn’t seem happy. Now she’s more open and doesn’t hesitate to show affection for her new wife, photographer Alexandra Hedison, 45. They seemed to be having fun shopping at Bristol Farms in Beverly Hills.

ROBIN ROBERTS EASED HER WAY OUT OF THE CLOSET

Did Robin Roberts realize that her offhand comment on Facebook saying thanks to her family, and “longtime girlfriend Amber” would escalate into a big news story? It was a very matter-of-fact way to ease herself out of the closet and she certainly played it DOWN. It seems that everyone she worked with was aware of her ten year relationship with massage therapist Amber Laign, but not necessarily her Good Morning America audience. Robin survived a major health crisis and has a LOT to be thankful for this year. We bet she’s relieved that the news is out, but now the hunt is ON for photos of Robin and Amber together.

HERE’S PROOF THAT MILEY CYRUS DONATED LIAM HEMSWORTH’S CLOTHES TO THRIFT STORE

Why would a thrift store LIE? Out of the Closet thrift store in West Hollywood has vehemently DENIED the story that appeared in the UK Daily Mail that Miley Cyrus donated clothes that Liam Hemsworth left behind at her house. We’re here to prove The Daily Mail was RIGHT. The donation included some of Liam’s workout gear and two beautiful cashmere sweaters – one with a Barneys label and the other a Ted Baker label. It so happens one of our friends was thrilled to find the expensive sweaters and bought them for $20 at the thrift store. He called us up to boast about his “find” and we put two and two together. If just goes to show you can’t believe those “denials.”

RICHARD CHAMBERLAIN AND RUPERT EVERETT ADVISE ACTORS: STAY IN THE CLOSET!

Richard Chamberlain agrees with us – and with Rupert Everett – that leading male actors in Hollywood (or anywhere else) should NOT come out as gay. Chamberlain came out at the age of 69 when he was too old for romantic roles and he advises younger actors to keep quiet about their sexual preference. Rupert Everett regrets coming out at the age of 30 because leading roles dried up and now he spends much of his time writing. Chamberlain made a point when he told The Advocate Look what happened with Prop 8 – don’t pretend we’re suddenly accepted.” Let’s face it – would Rob Pattinson have all those fans drooling over him if he were openly gay?

HOLD EVERYTHING: THIS REALITY SHOW FEATURES CELEBRITIES COMING OUT OF THE CLOSET!

Ever since publicist Howard Bragman announced that he is developing a reality show for A&E (so far called “Coming Out”) in which celebrities come OUT of the closet – we have been in a state of excited anticipation. This is monumental news for people in the gossip business. Howard is responsible for the tasteful “coming out” of gay clients such as Dick Sargent, Chaz Bono, and Lance Bass. Bragman is actively searching for closeted celebs to appear on the show and we predict he’s got a tough job ahead of him. It’s way more exciting than Celebrity Rehab and if they pay enough, who knows WHO might come out of the closet!
