She only started modeling a year or so ago, but Kaia Gerber, 16, has been losing weight very quickly. Her teenage fans are alarmed and buzzing that she’s anorexic. Ironically, Kaia’s mother Cindy Crawford was always celebrated as a model with a little meat on her bones – and very sexy in a swimsuit. Maybe Kaia has been influenced by the slightly older models she works with who smoke cigarettes instead of eating…

We don’t see supermodel Claudia Schiffer around much any more because she lives in London with her husband, producer Matthew Vaughn. Matthew is close friends with Guy Ritchie and has produced many of his films. Claudia and her husband have three children – Cosima, above, is the youngest at 7. She’s already showing future model potential. Claudia and Cindy Crawford were among the hottest models of the 90’s, and they both have pretty daughters.

GABRIEL KANE DAY-LEWIS: AND HE SINGS, TOO

Gabriel Kane Day-Lewis, 22, calls himself a singer/songwriter, but so far he’s had most of his success as a model. His mother is French actress Isabelle Adjani and his father is, of course, our beloved Daniel Day-Lewis. Daniel has always been something of a dandy when it comes to fashion, and we’re happy to see Gabriel is following in his footsteps. Daniel is 6’2” and he’s got those modern eyebrows- no wonder he’s the face of Hudson Jeans along with Kaia Gerber.

LUCKY BLUE SMITH AND PYPER AMERICA SMITH ARE NOT TWINS

At first we thought that lookalike models Lucky Blue Smith and Piper America Smith were TWINS, but it turns out that Pyper, 20, is one year older than Lucky. This Mormon family from Utah hit it big ion the internet and in the model department – Lucky and his three sisters are all models. (Pyper and her sisters do not do nudity – don’t know about Lucky.) The foursome moved to LA where they share a one bedroom apartment for now. Lucky and his girlfriend, Miss Teen USA Stormi Bree just had a baby (!) and they named her Gravity Blue. Pyper dates Pamela Anderson’s son Brandon Lee (also a model.)

KAIA GERBER: AND SO IT BEGINS….

It’ been a big week for Kaia Gerber. She turned sweet sixteen and her life changed overnight. Two days later, she went right out and got her driver’s license – on the first try! Her age now makes her eligible to walk the runway in shows during New York Fashion Week for the first time. (16 is the age minimum for models.) Her mom, Cindy Crawford, will be keeping an eye on her. Designers are already lining up to hire her, and we got a photo of her leaving a fitting at Alexander Wang. Does this girl know how lucky she is?

CHRISTY TURLINGTON: SUPERMODEL ON THE SUBWAY

Even bundled up with minimal makeup, supermodel Christy Turlington, 48, is still a knockout on the subway. She’s one of our favorites because later in her career, Christy went back to school and graduated from NYU with honors and got a Masters degree from Columbia University. Besides modeling, she has used her education to become very active in women’s health and education charities worldwide. She’s been married to actor/director Ed Burns for 13 years and they have two kids. Interesting fact: Christy’s sister is married to Ed’s brother!

SECOND GENERATION: FRENCH ACTOR ALAIN DELON’S LOOKALIKE SON

It’s never a bad thing when a gorgeous person reproduces an equally gorgeous offspring. Alain Delon, 80, was the king of cool European movies in the 60’s and 70’s – he had style and presence like no other French star, except perhaps Brigitte Bardot. Americans don’t realize how incredibly popular he was around the world. We saw him once sitting in a café on Sunset Strip and were mesmerized. Enough about him – his son (with a Dutch model, of course) is Alain-Fabien Delon, 22, and he got his father’s good looks. Alain-Fabian is a successful model (above, he’s the face of Theory’s fall 2016 collection) And he’s starting to act – those are hard shoes to fill…

Gigi Hadid was on location in LA for a modeling job when her mother Yolanda Foster paid her a visit. It’s easy to see where Gigi got her good looks – Yolanda was a successful model in her youth. When gorgeous models marry not-so-gorgeous billionaire moguls, their children are born blessed in many ways. It seems like most of the time the tall and beautiful female genes win out over the short unattractive male genes. And the kids just MIGHT be as smart as they are pretty. LEONARDO DICAPRIO: HOW DOES THIS MAN ATTRACT SO MANY MODELS?

What IS it about Leonardo DiCaprio, 41, that makes him catnip for so many young women? Is it the romantic memory of Titanic? Is it his impressive string of movies with Martin Scorsese? He claims to be environmentally friendly, but that doesn’t stop him from flying in private planes. When he’s not making movies, he can usually be found in Europe lounging on gigantic yachts with a gaggle of models. He doesn’t exactly exude charm and wit with the press, but he MUST have some good lines to attract all those girls. Leo doesn’t seem to care what he LOOKS LIKE – he never cultivates a six -pack or wears cool clothes. (Plus he has a full head of hair but never takes off that baseball cap!) Leonardo’s considerable appeal continues to defy analysis…

ANGELS NEED RETAIL THERAPY TOO

Here’s what you missed if you weren’t shopping on Melrose Avenue today: Victoria’s Secret models on the loose. A small pack of Angels took the neighborhood by storm and had heads turning as they hit one store after another. We love that they were all wearing sneakers – appropriate footwear for the sport of shopping. Giggling and chatting all the way, the girls and their shopping bags all piled into one car and took off.
