In spite of the fact that New York magazine voted the Mob Wives among the 10 worst people on reality TV, the franchise continues to thrive and Mob Wives Chicago is pulling in steadily increasing ratings. Chicago star Nora Schweihs is our favorite and it looks like her cougar relationship with actor Michael Evers is still going strong. Hawaii based Michael has been flying in to spend time with Nora and they were photographed on Oak Street Beach on June 26. Next thing you know he’ll be appearing on the show with her.

Mob Wives Chicago fans might be interested to know that Nora Schweihs, 48, is not quite as ditzy as she seems. Her claim to fame is her father Frank “The German” Schweihs, who was a notorious hit man in Chicago, and died in prison in 2007. Nora loves the hospitality business and just earned a masters degree in hotel management. Good for her. Maybe not so good for her is the fact that she’s dating a much younger man, actor Michael Evers, 23, and she doesn’t mind being called a Cougar.

It’s been awhile since we wrote about Michael Evers, but here’s the latest on the up and coming Hollywood actor. As we told you previously, Michael was cast in the movie One Heart, costarring former Prison Break star Lane Garrison, but like many others, the production has been put on hold due to financing issues. Michael turned his attention to TV and the lucky guy landed a guest appearance on Hawaii Five-0. Here’s a shot of Michael in Honolulu where he’s working on his episode.

Michael Evers, 21, and Tiffany Trump,17, (pictured above on a Santa Monica beach) have something in common besides rich daddies. Michael landed a role in Lane Garrison’s movie “One Heart,” and Tiffany is writing a song for the movie. We didn’t know that Tiffany’s mother Marla Maples has a recording career of her own. (Check her out in iTunes) And it looks like Michael is jumping on the “Twilight hair” bandwagon.

WHEN MARIAH CAREY SHOPS, SHE’S THE CENTER OF ATTENTION

Michael Evers was doing a photo shoot at Gregory’s posh clothing store in the Venetian Canal Shoppes in Las Vegas when Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon appeared and everything was put on hold. The place was cleared out so Mariah could select apparel and shoes for herself and her husband. When Mariah left, her purchases totaled $25,000 – including the $5000 alligator boots in the photo above that Mariah scooped up for Nick. Michael resumed the photography after Hurricane Carey departed.

It was inevitable. Lorenzo Lamas, undaunted by four divorces and six children, got engaged again. And it’s another whirlwind romance. Lorenzo was working out at Sports club LA three months ago when he met Shawna Craig, 23, a former beauty queen who’d just arrived from Florida. (Almost the same name as his LAST Shauna) He proposed on Valentines Day and this weekend he had an engagement party at Mr Chow. (Above photo: someone gave them Tiffany champagne glasses as a gift.) Lorenzo’s family, including his daughter Shane, whom you remember from The Bachelor, was there. Shane was nuzzled up to “One Heart” star Michael Evers, who seems to be EVERYWHERE.

LANE GARRISON: “IT WAS ALL MY FAULT”

We were the first to reveal that Lane Garrison is producing a movie called “One Heart” featuring Michael Evers (above.) Lane talked to In Touch magazine about the movie and the time he spent in jail. He detailed some of the prison conditions he endured, but he DOESN’T want anyone to think he’s complaining. Lane admits HE caused his incarceration to happen because he chose to drink and drive. He went on to say “If talking about what happened to me will prevent one person from drinking and driving, then this whole tragedy won’t have been in vain.” Friends say Lane is genuinely remorseful and learned his lesson.

LANE GARRISON’S JUVENILE PRISON MOVIE “ONE HEART” IS IN THE WORKS

We told you in December that Lane Garrison is becoming a producer and now he’s started work on his first project “One Heart.” It’s about a maximum security juvenile facility (age 13 to 20) in Texas that allowed boys who behaved to form a football team, practice on Friday nights, and challenge local high schools. The team of inmates always had empty bleachers on their side at the schools (no one to cheer them on) and they never won their games. Eventually a kindhearted coach from Faith High School “adopted” the team and provided cheerleaders and students to fill the stands and cheer for them. The inmates started winning and the inspired players went on to lead productive lives. Lane is starring as the coach and he’s already cast Michael Evers as an inmate/football player.

Recently we ran a photo of Las Vegas model turned reality star Michael Evers and we got numerous requests from readers for more photos of him and information about the show. A photographer caught Michael yesterday in Beverly Hills getting out of his Hummer. Here’s what we know about the reality show: “The Strip” starts filming at the end of next month. Michael was chosen with seven other hot young people for the pilot episode, but he’s spending half his time in Los Angeles so he’ll fly back and forth. It’s called a reality show, but it’s scripted with made-up storylines just like “The Hills.” Michael is supposedly dating another reality star and when we find out who it is, we’ll let you know.
