DON’T UNDERESTIMATE CHARLIZE THERON

We’ve always thought Charlize Theron was one of the great beauties in Hollywood – but a little cool and distant. Of course, the fact that she dated Sean Penn didn’t add anything positive to her aura. But as far as acting goes, she absolutely KILLS playing Megyn Kelly in the news drama Bombshell. Her performance is so subtle and on the mark that she was not recognizable. Of course she got help from special effects genius Kazu Hiro, who created 8 totally natural looking prosthetic pieces for her face to transform her into Kelly. Theron’s voice, mannerisms and attitude are beyond perfect! She BECAME Kelly and certainly earned the American Cinematheque Award she was given last night. Can’t help wondering what Megyn Kelly thinks …

DID CHARLIZE THERON GET A NEW NOSE TO PLAY MEGYN KELLY?

Megyn Kelly has to be THRILLED about the new (untitled) Roger Ailes movie being filmed now – first of all because the gorgeous Charlize Theron (above) is playing Megyn – what could be more flattering than THAT! Megyn was one of the heroic women who took a stand against the arrogant chairman of Fox network and accused him of sexual abuse, which led to his downfall. The movie has an amazing cast – Nicole Kidman, Margot Robbie, Allison Janney, and Kate McKinnon. Charlize looks so much Megyn on the set that we wonder if makeup people duplicated Megyn’s strange nose…

MEGYN KELLY CAN DO NO RIGHT

For awhile we were feeling SORRY for Megyn Kelly because of all the nitpicking and criticizing whatever she tried to do. Granted we were turned off by CBS trying to transform her hard news persona into a warm and cuddly homebody talk show host. We blamed the network. BUT, her appalling encounter with Jane Fonda was unforgivable. Megyn was chatting with Jane and Robert Redford, who were promoting their sweet romantic movie Our Souls at Night, and Megyn brashly – with sexist undertones – brought up the subject of Jane’s plastic surgery! Imagine a WOMAN doing that! Unacceptable manners, even for a tabloid reporter. Clearly, Megyn is digging her own grave.
