MARK ZUCKERBERG DOESN’T WANT TO GO TO PRISON

According to Vanity Fair, American billionaires are falling all over themselves, buttering up Donald Trump with fistfuls of money. It seems like the logical way to deal with someone who could be a threat to their companies. Elon Musk was first in line and has so far donated 277 million to the new President. (He’s now considered “family”) Recently, tech CEO Mark Zuckerberg (who is mighty fussy about Facebook posts) donated a million dollars to Trump’s inauguration fund, in spite of the fact that Trump had threatened to toss Zuckerberg into prison “for life” for banning him from Facebook. Jeff Bezos loudly congratulated Trump on his win and says he feels “optimistic.” Who will be next to buddy up to our president?

MARK ZUCKERBERG IS STILL SAYING HE’S SORRY

Nice to see Mark Zuckerberg spiffed up in a navy suit and tie, appropriate to his position as CEO of Facebook. He was probably the most famous of the 50 or so CEO’s from the world’s biggest tech firms who showed up at the Tech For Good summit in Paris. French President Emmanuel Macron, who is very tech savvy, arranged the summit because he believes that with power comes social responsibility. He emphasized that he welcomes innovation but also regulation and working for the common good. As automation replaces jobs he wants employers to be responsible for retraining employees and focusing on the most at-risk segment of the population. Hopefully he planted some seeds of conscience…

THE BILLIONAIRE ZUCKERBERGS – NO CONSPICUOUS CONSUMPTION HERE

The polar opposite of Kim K and Kanye West are our new favorite newlyweds- the unpretentious Zuckerbergs. Imagine being more interested in your WORK than material status symbols! Priscilla Chan is a billionaire’s wife who has never been seen lugging a $100,000 Kelly bag or wearing Louboutin shoes! She walked down the aisle in a $4,700 dress and her wedding ring cost a paltry $25,000! Their modest wedding featured $7.50 burritos on the menu. She’s no trophy wife or pampered princess – now that Priscilla has earned her medical degree from UC, she plans to work as a pediatrician. Obviously Silicon Valley is producing a whole new breed of brilliant but likeable and admirable billionaires with old-fashioned work ethics. They’re a credit to America.

MARK ZUCKERBERG JUST BECAME OUR FAVORITE BILLIONAIRE

There’s something we can’t help but like about multi-billionaire Mark Zuckerberg. As wealthy as he is, Mark lives a relatively understated life (he lines up at the food truck at lunchtime with everyone else) and still has a powerful work ethic. He doesn’t flaunt his success and incredible wealth or isolate himself from society. He’s had the same equally brainy girlfriend, Priscilla Chan, for over nine years and they had a simple wedding this weekend. A hundred people – in his backyard – a ruby ring. No big fuss. Surprised guests thought they were invited to celebrate Priscilla’s graduation from medical school. We’re happy for them.

MARK ZUCKERBERG PROBABLY DOESN’T EVEN READ GQ

GQ has come out with it’s Worst Dressed list and David Arquette is NOT at the top – the winner is Facebook mogul Mark Zuckerberg. He may be a tech genius but Mark still dresses like he’s on campus rushing to Biology class. We’ve never seen him in a suit – his classic attire is baggy jeans, a hoodie, and flip flops or Nike slides – worn with socks in the winter! GQ allows that nerds run the world, but their style begins and ends at The Gap.

FACEBOOK MOGUL MARK ZUCKERBERG IS NOW A DOLL

Here’s the perfect gift for brainiac kids: the Mark Zuckerberg action figure doll. (For legal reasons the M.I.C store had to call it the Poking Inventor Action Figure) It’s 7 inches tall and features blank speech balloons that attach to the head. Of course, he’s appropriately attired in flip flops and a hoodie and sells for $70. Keep in mind, a media mogul action figure is more inspiring for kids than any cartoon character.

WHO’S THE GUY IN THE GAP T SHIRT EATING ON THE SIDEWALK? MARK ZUCKERBERG!

You never know who you’re going to run into at a taco stand in California. Nobody else in line paid any attention when Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg joined the line at a stand near his Palo Alto office, and quietly waited his turn. He ordered two chicken tacos with rice and tortilla chips and sat down with a friend in a shop doorway to eat his less that six dollar meal. Keep in mind, unpretentious Mark is the world’s youngest self-made billionaire, and Time magazine named him “Most Influential Man Of The Year”. (Mark’s dentist father remarked about the Time article: “It must have been a slow year.”)

How the other half lives is always interesting – in both directions. Facebook mogul Mark Zuckerberg, who happens to be a billionaire seven times over, always surprises us. He recently gave up his modest rental home to move with his girlfriend Priscilla Chan into this newly renovated house in Palo Alto. The new house has 3800 sq ft, 5 bedrooms and 4 baths – and as far as we know – no media room. Supposedly he has top notch security but the home is not gated and it looks like you can see right in. He’s not cloistering himself away from the world and continues to walk to work.

“The Social Network” has created quite an image for Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, whether he likes it or not. We were surprised to learn that the 26 year old, who is supposedly worth SEVEN BILLION dollars, lives in this modest, 4 bedroom rental home located walking distance from Facebook headquarters in Palo Alto, Calif. (Above, he’s pictured with his longtime girlfriend Priscilla Chan.) When the weather gets cooler, we wonder if he’ll wear socks with his flip flops like his movie character did.
