L RON HUBBARD GETS CLOSER TO PERFECTION EVERY DAY

Here’s an interesting story we just heard about Scientology: A source told us about a friend who was experienced in editing and touching up and restoring photographs. This young woman was hired to work at a Scientology center and her job description was to work on the archival collection of photos of L Ron Hubbard, the founder of Scientology, and make sure all photographs of him were flattering. In his early years the science fiction writer ran with a bar-hopping boozy bunch of writers in LA. He was a messy guy and all evidence of THAT was unacceptable. Undesirable items were to be removed from pics– all liquor glasses and bottles, cigarettes, and maybe a bottle of pills that could be seen in the background, disappeared. And Hubbard was prettied up – spots were erased from his clothing, his hair was neatened up. Unattractive companions were also removed. All archival photos would eventually be re-imagined in ideal perfection. Before the job was finished, however, our girl was fired because someone overheard her on the phone talking about a wild night she had experienced and her behavior was judged as unseemly. So someone else was hired for the position of glorifying L Ron Hubbard.

WILL SURI CRUISE WEAR HEELS AND LIPSTICK TO SCIENTOLOGY SCHOOL?

It’s back to school time and Suri Cruise doesn’t know it, but she’s already being subtly indoctrinated into Scientology beliefs at her pre-school. Suri is enrolled at the controversial school Will and Jada Smith started, New Village Leadership Academy in Calabasas, which uses L Ron Hubbard teaching principles and employs many Scientology staffers and teachers. The $12,000 a year school teaches kids Scientology terminology and jargon early on, and leads them to admire L Ron Hubbard to ease their way into the cult. Hopefully, Suri won’t lose her independent spirit.

TOM CRUISE MADE JEREMY RENNER A BETTER OFFER

Oscar nominated Jeremy Renner was set to star in “The Master” – a script by Paul Thomas Anderson (“There Will Be Blood”) that’s based on the life of L Ron Hubbard and Scientology – using different names. It’s about a quasi-religious organization started in 1952 America and features all the Scientology techniques such as auditing and living in seclusion on a ship – all in all, it is NOT flattering to the organization. Despite the writer’s pedigree, it’s been a rocky road to bring it to the big screen and insiders suspect Scientologists pulled strings to halt production. Ironically or not, Tom Cruise wooed and hired Jeremy Renner to star in his movie now filming, “Mission Impossible IV” (with a promise to take over the franchise) and the shooting days overlapped so Jeremy wasn’t available to do the Scientology movie. Universal dropped the project for puzzling reasons and now it is all but dead. We’re inclined to think the conspiracy theories are true.
