HARRISON FORD: UNDERCOVER NICE GUY
This is the type of Good Samaritan item that publicists LOVE to plant about their clients, but in this case it isn’t coming from a publicist so it actually happened! Last year, avid pilot Harrison Ford heard at the hangar (where he parks his plane in Santa Monica) that one of the ground crew was diagnosed with a terminal disease. Harrison arranged for the guy and his family to visit Hawaii, picking up the tab for the a week long vacation. And when the worker passed, Ford paid for the burial and celebration of life. A source reveals Harrison insisted on keeping his generosity anonymous, but we couldn’t help but share.
