Bradley Cooper and his daughter Lea and Jennifer Garner were seen reportedly looking “flirty” on the beach in Malibu today. Many observers assumed it was a possible romance, since both parties are now single. But don’t jump to conclusions. It’s clear from this 2016 photo of Bradley and Jennifer at a fashion show, that they are very fond of each other and enjoy each other’s company. Fact is, they’ve been friends for YEARS – since they costarred on the Alias series from 2001 to 2006. If a romance didn’t develop a long time ago, it probably won’t now…

JENNIFER GARNER: IT’S ALL ABOUT THE KIDS

You can bet that Jennifer Garner has organized a full schedule of daily activities for her kids now that they are isolating at home. Certainly studying is first on the list every day – and it’s done under mom’s watchful eye. After the book work, exercise is a priority. Jennifer and the three kids either jog, walk, or bike ride together every day. In the evening they play games or watch movies together. They don’t see a lot of dad Ben Affleck, who lives close by, and when they do, he keeps his distance. Besides, Ben is quite busy with his new girlfriend Ana de Armas.

EVERYBODY SHOULD HAVE A MOTHER LIKE JENNIFER GARNER

We are always astonished at what a loving and caring mother Jennifer Garner seems to be. And she’s a MOVIE STAR, to boot! Regular everyday moms are rarely as attentive to their children- Jennifer walks or drives her three kids to school every day and picks them up after school. When she’s not available, their father Ben Affleck does the job. She also escorts them to and from church every Sunday. These lucky kids must really feel loved. It also illustrates Ben Affleck’s recent comment that his divorce from Jennifer is the biggest regret of his life.

VIOLET AFFLECK IS NO LONGER JENNIFER GARNER’S MINI-ME

We have to give Ben Affleck credit – he manages to show up just about every Sunday to take his kids to church in Brentwood along with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner. Ben acknowledges that Jennifer makes co-parenting easy and he appreciates her. Meanwhile, their 14 year old daughter Violet looks more like her mother every day. Violet has reached her mother’s 5’8” height and she’s still growing. Of course, Dad is 6’4” so all the kids might be tall. Jennifer says Violet is experimenting with makeup now, and once in awhile she has to tell her daughter to wipe it off before she leaves the house…

We hope Ben Affleck realizes how lucky he is to have Jennifer Garner for an ex-wife. Despite all his shenanigans that led up to their split, Jennifer has never become bitter or vengeful. They had a very civilized and modern divorce with no conflict over child custody or anything else. Jennifer continues to encourage Ben’s interaction with the kids and she maintains a good relationship with her in-laws. Above, Jennifer picked up her former mother-in-law and her daughter after they finished shopping in Brentwood.

JENNIFER GARNER TO THE RESCUE – AGAIN

So it wasn’t really “distance” that split up Ben Affleck, 46, and his girlfriend Lindsay Shookus, 38. We’re guessing Lindsay diplomatically used the excuse that they lived on different coasts to explain their sudden breakup – she couldn’t very well admit that Ben’s booze relapse was the real reason. Observers assumed that Ben dumped Lindsay for the Playboy model he’s been seen with – but it appears that Lindsay had enough of his drinking. Lindsay is a successful and smart SNL producer and she doesn’t have to put up with his nonsense. The real hero in this scenario is Ben’s long-suffering ex-wife Jennifer Garner – SHE recognized his problem and organized Ben’s trip to rehab. He’ll never find another woman like her…

BEN AFFLECK MAKES TIME FOR HIS KIDS – NO MATTER WHAT

Ben Affleck caught up with his ex Jennifer Garner and their kids as they made their way home after school. When they split, Ben leased a house not too far from their family home. It’s close enough so that he can see the kids frequently – and far enough away so that he and his new girlfriend Lindsay Shookus don’t run into Jennifer and the kids. Every time we see Ben and Jennifer (who looked AMAZING at the Oscars) he looks a little serious and pained, and she tries not to look uncomfortable. Ben is still getting help for his alcohol abuse – this week his producer girlfriend is in New York because SNL is back in production. After this photo was taken, Ben kissed the kids goodbye and they went their separate ways.

WHO WOULDN’T WANT A MOTHER LIKE JENNIFER GARNER?

How many A-list celebrity moms do you see sitting in a public park watching a soccer game with her little boy? Besides Jennifer Garner, we can only think of two others – Gwen Stefani and Heidi Klum! Jennifer and Sam were watching one of her daughters play soccer. Garner must be the perfect mom – she spends time with each of her children separately and lets them pursue their own interests. She walks them to school and walks them home. Her little boy Sam is a dead ringer for his mom. And that’s not a bad thing.

BEN AFFLECK: LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING

On paper, Ben Affleck looks like a great catch. He’s tall, dark, handsome, and smart, and has a successful career as an award-winning actor and director. Certainly he has attracted his share of equally attractive and successful women. But all is not as it appears. Ben has had a drinking problem for quite awhile that called for several visits to rehab. At times he can be surly and moody. What’s more, Ben is addicted to gambling in excess and has never totally been able to give THAT up, despite financial repercussions. Jennifer Garner has endured all of his addictions and we have to give her credit for never complaining. And she is trying to make the most of their co-parenting. Ben did ONE thing right – he married Jennifer. (Above, Ben, looking a bit puffy, took Seraphina to karate class.)

BEN AFFLECK AND THE NANNY SYNDROME

Watch out! Ben Affleck is MAD at the press. He had hoped to have a civilized, uneventful divorce from Jennifer Garner, but someone blabbed to media about his nanny and all hell broke loose. It’s entirely possible that he has the nanny stashed at the Bel Air hotel at his expense. Whether that’s true or not, you can bet SOMETHING is up, and Ben is embarrassed and angry. He’s currently in Atlanta with the kids while Jennifer is filming.
