KAIA GERBER KEEPS HER PARENTS ON EDGE

Kaia Gerber is only 18, but they want her to grow up FAST in Japan – she looks like she’s been around the block a few times on this Vogue Japan cover. Kaia’s personal life continues to baffle her fans. Her last relationship was with SNL’s quirky Pete Davidson, and her family was relieved to see that end. But lately she’s been seen hanging out and HOLDING HANDS with bisexual Cara Delevingne, so she may or may not, be headed in a whole new direction…

PARIS FASHION WEEK: JAPANESE FASHION RULES

Paris Fashion Week further illustrated the inevitable evolution from fancy haute couture to athletic inspired streetwear. We cannot resist Japanese fashion and Sacai is one of our select few fantasy designers. (We fanaticize about buying some) Sacai incorporates many of our favorite things: plaid, military inspiration, and asymmetry, plus there is a functional element. If we could splurge on anything from the Spring 2019 collection, it would be this.

JAPAN LOVES TOM CRUISE, NO MATTER WHAT

“Edge of Tomorrow” may have fizzled in the USA, but Japanese fans are still crazy for Tom Cruise. He’s promoting the movie, and seemed very touched by the warm reception he got there. Tom DOES look a little different. His smile isn’t as flashy, his face is a bit rounder and his hair isn’t so black. He actually looks more like a normal person than a superhero movie star.

THIS BARE BOTTOM FASHION ILLUSION FROM JAPAN COULD CAUSE A TRAFFIC PILE-UP!

Japan has SOME sense of humor. Supposedly, these are not girls with their underwear showing- they are prints on the skirts that make it LOOK like panties are visible! Is it possible this is all an optical illusion? It’s claimed that no skin or underpants are really showing, but it is very startling. Trick photography notwithstanding, this could definitely become a hazard to ogling drivers. We wonder who would be the first to sport this look in Hollywood? Child bride Courtney Stodden perhaps?

LADY GAGA ATTEMPTS TO WIN OVER THE JAPANESE BY LOOKING LIKE A PANDA

Lady Gaga wants to be liked in Japan so naturally she made herself up to look like A PANDA for a talk show there. She was drumming up excitement for a tour she might be planning in Japan. She also hotly denied pocketing money from sales of her “Pray for Japan” charity wristbands. Gaga insists that all proceeds go to help earthquake and tsunami victims in Japan.

JAPAN LOVES TO SIP TEA WITH MEG RYAN

Meg Ryan was one of the most popular American actresses in Japan a few years ago, and she did lucrative tea commercials for TV. Recently she got another offer she couldn’t refuse – two million dollars for two days of work filming more tea ads. Advertisers roll out the red carpet and besides a first class hotel and all the frills they offered her a spa vacation along with her boyfriend John Mellencamp.

Now HERE’S a personal mobility device that has potential! We’ve always thought the Segway was too big and clunky to ever be practical. Plus you have to stand up! Honda has developed this “electric unicycle” using technology developed through robotics research and it moves easily in all directions, just by leaning. It will be introduced at the Tokyo Motor Show in Japan on October 24. We do kinda wish that General Motors had come up with this.
