Oh dear. It’s Mariah Carey’s uber-wealthy former fiancée James Packer and his new girlfriend Kylie Lim boarding a luxury yacht in St Tropez. On one hand, Kylie is awfully young and pretty. On the OTHER hand, James looks like he’s gained a hundred pounds! When he and Mariah split in 2016, the 6’6” Packer was considerably trimmer. Eating his heart out? Probably not. Actually, James checked himself into a $5000 a night mental health facility in Boston in March and he recently got out. We’re guessing the food was pretty good there…

Mariah Carey Video Wedding Gown

MARIAH CAREY SHOULD HAVE AUCTIONED OFF THAT WEDDING GOWN FOR CHARITY

In her latest video,(‘I Don’t”) Mariah Carey took great pleasure in setting fire to the $250,000 custom Valentino wedding gown that she planned to wear in her cancelled wedding to James Packer. TMZ validated that it was the SAME gown she tried on during an episode of her reality show. The colossal act of self-indulgence was obviously a snarky message for Packer. We wonder WHY Mariah didn’t take this opportunity to AUCTION OFF the expensive unwanted gown and give the money to charity!! Same message – and Mariah could certainly USE some good publicity for herself.

James Packer Mariah Carey Money Scientology Split Tommy Davis

JAMES PACKER: DID SCIENTOLOGY FINALLY DO SOMETHING RIGHT?

The answer to the above question is no. From the outside looking in, it appears that high-ranking Scientologist Tommy Davis DID do billionaire James Packer a favor by influencing him to dump his spendthrift fiancée Mariah Carey. Back in the early 2000s, Packer’s life was a disaster and Tom Cruise stepped in to help. (Tommy Davis was Cruise’s Scientology “handler” at the time.) They helped solve Packer’s problems (we’d LOVE to know HOW!) and pulled the billionaire into Scientology where he lasted for five years. Packer drifted from Scientology, but he was so impressed with Tommy Davis that he gave him a vague job “managing his investments” in the USA. Not long ago Davis pointed out to Packer that his fiancée Mariah was spending absurd amounts of his money. Packer ended the engagement and Mariah is blaming Tommy Davis for the split. Did Tommy do Packer A FAVOR when he disengaged the couple? Probably yes. BUT, and this is a BIG but, now Packer is ripe to be drawn back into Scientology, so that’s the horrible downside.

JAMES PACKER AND MARIAH CAREY’S INEVITABLE SPLIT: IT SEEMED LIKE A GOOD IDEA AT THE TIME!

Is ANYBODY surprised that Australian billionaire James Packer changed his mind about marrying Mariah Carey? Last year when they met, the coupling seemed like a good idea. Both have high school educations and enjoy attention. He’s wealthy and she likes to spend money. Packer was enchanted with Mariah’s glamorous lifestyle and friends, and they both loved yachting and vacationing on tropical islands. But like Packer’s infatuation with Scientology (thanks to Tom Cruise) the novelty wore off. Packer observed how high maintenance and self-indulgent Mariah is, and we think he just got tired of waiting for her to “get ready” with the help of her beauty staff, night after night before they went out. He probably pictured himself holding her up in her high heels for years to come, and came to his senses!

Wow. This is a rare photo of Mariah Carey out for the evening and NOT holding on to one or two men to keep her from tripping in her stilettos. Maybe this photo is telling us something about her relationship with billionaire James Packer. The couple was photographed at Nobu in NYC and Maria looks giddy as a schoolgirl – she probably has a big crush on him. Packer seems to be paying more attention to the paparazzi than he is to Mariah (she could fall on her face!) Packer’s “crush” on Mariah might be wearing off – she IS hard to please and self-centered in her private life. He’s probably enjoys the publicity he’s getting now, but we predict he will tire of her self-indulgence. Being with Mariah can be hard work.

MARIAH CAREY FINALLY SAID YES – AND TOOK A TUMBLE

One man was not enough to get Mariah Carey, 45, safely onto a yacht in her ridiculous shoes. She took a tumble on the stairs and held onto her Celine bag for dear life. One security guy caught her mid-fall and another took her other arm to get her down the stairs intact. It was, of course, her new boyfriend James Packer’s huge yacht in Ibiza. He’s a 47 year old Australian tycoon worth 4.7 billion who has been pursuing Mariah for years. (And he has a full head of hair!) She finally said yes and it’s been smooth sailing ever since…
