MOCA HOPES YOU’LL FIT INTO LADY GAGA’S SHOES
Prada designed size 4 bouffant dress, hand painted and festooned with chandelier glass, and Frank Gehry designed headdress that Lady Gaga wore when she performed at the MOCA 30th Anniversary Gala are being auctioned off to raise money for the museum. Included with the dress are Gaga’s matching size 6 and ½ platform shoes with chandelier glass dripping from the heels. (Tiny feet!) Yes, the headpiece reminds us of Disney Hall. We saw these treasures up close and they ARE exceptional. The costume is valued at $30,000, but someone might get a good deal. The Gehry hat is also valued at $30,000, and it’s all for a worthwhile cause – we love our museum.
