For some reason Janet Jackson chose to bring her nephew, Austin Brown, to the NY premier of her movie “For Colored Girls” instead of her Arabic boyfriend Wissam Al Mana. Austin, 24, makes a decorative escort and HE just released a single “Target Practice,” this month. Austin is the son of Janet’s oldest sister Rebbie and he’s definitely up and coming. (Why didn’t SOMEBODY tell Janet her pants are too long?)
Janet Jackson is going on with the show – without Mariah Carey. Janet has started filming Tyler Perry’s new movie “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf” – based on the 1975 play. (Mariah dropped out) It’s about seven women of different hues and their problems including love, abandonment, rape and abortion. The stellar cast includes Whoopi Goldberg, Phylicia Rashad, Kerry Washington, Loretta Devine, and Macy Gray, so Mariah is really missing out. However, Janet will carry on – and she looks spiffy doing it, doesn’t she?
