Lindsay Lohan nearly had a nervous breakdown a few years ago when she was faced with the possibility that she could NOT wear her hair extensions in prison. It turned out she could wear them – her sentence wasn’t that long and they were firmly attached. But now Teresa Giudice faces the same problem and the local law says HER extensions have to be removed before she checks in to begin her sentence – partly because they cannot be maintained behind bars. Teresa is freaking out at the idea of being seen with her own sparse hair. (We thought Italians all had thick hair!) That first photo of her without all that makeup or hair will be priceless!

Rumer Willis, 22, needs a makeover. Her career has stalled – the only acting gigs she’s had are a few guest spots on 90210 last year. She looked great in ads for Badgley Mischka in January but not so hot in person lately. Those extensions are not doing her any favors. She was photographed in her shorts leaving the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.

DOES BRITNEY KNOW EXTENSIONS AREN’T SUPPOSED TO SHOW?

If Paris Hilton can afford to have a hairdresser do her hair every morning, then Britney Spears can afford it too. Britney should give up trying to manage her own locks – she needs a fulltime expert. She walked out of a West Hollywood dance studio looking like THIS. We’re not sure if these are permanent or clip on extensions but whoever attached them should refund Britney’s money or teach her how to deal with them. This never happens to the Kardashians.

We’ve seen some fake looking extensions around this town but Rumer Willis must have gone to a cut-rate technician in the valley. Poor girl. She might be advised to ask the Kardashian sisters where they get their hair extensions because at least they match.

We can’t stop wondering about what will happen to Lindsay Lohan’s extensions now that she’s going to jail. Like Phil Spector, Lindsay has to surrender all fake hair at the door. Will she wear clip-on extensions for her heavily photographed jail arrival and check them with her wallet and other personal items? Or will she have them removed ahead of time and be photographed going to jail without her hair? And what about the eyelash extensions?

Pregnant Kourtney Kardashian spent three hours at a hair salon in Beverly Hills getting extensions. We have to confess we’re surprised – we thought the Kardashian girls were so lucky because they all had that naturally thick lustrous Armenian hair. They DON’T! They buy it, like Britney Spears, but the quality of work is far better than Britney’s.
