Granted, Elton John’s hair looks really good, but his taste in fashion is starting to rival our Worst Dressed Celebrity, Justin Bieber, who also favors lavender. Elton John and David Furnish took their two boys Zachary and Elijah to St Tropez for their yearly vacation. Elton is looking very blonde – the foursome and their entourage spent time on fabulous billionaires’ yachts (hence the life vests) and evenings in fancy restaurants. The kids would probably rather be at Disneyland.

On August 1, Elton John had an appendectomy just in the nick of time. He’s been recovering at his home in Nice for the past few weeks and finally felt well enough to spend a day at the beach in St Tropez with his husband David Furnish and their two boys. Their sons, Zachary, 2, and Elijah, 7 months, look more like Elton every day! We wonder how many assistants, nannies, and bodyguards it takes to accomplish a maneuver like this.

Elton John and David Furnish have put their Sierra Towers condo on the market because they’ve made a very special purchase. The Trousdale section of Beverly Hills is our favorite because most of the homes are sprawling and magnificent mid-century modern gems built in the optimistic 1960’s. Case Study homes – easily the most beautiful architectural specimens in all of Southern California. Elton’s 4200 sq ft house house has 4 bedrooms and 5.5 baths surrounded by walls of glass and a sweeping view of the city. No sooner did Elton John become a father than he bought his new baby Zachary an apartment of his own! When Elton and his partner David Furnish are in Los Angeles they live at the deluxe Sierra Towers high rise building with wraparound city views. Theirs is a large two bedroom 3 bath unit and they bought the smaller apartment next door where they parked little Zachary and round the clock nannies. Whether they have a connecting door is not known, but certainly now they won’t be disturbed by a crying baby. It’s estimated that Elton paid around a million dollars for the surrogate baby – including lawyers and paying the surrogate mother to never go public. Zachary the million dollar baby now has his own two million dollar apartment.
