JOHN LEGEND AND CHRISSY DID A GOOD DEED

It’s John Legend and Chrissy Teigen to the rescue. Fitness influencer Miguel Aguilar died on December 21 – three months after being gunned down outside of his Bel-Air, California home during a botched robbery of his $50,000 Rolex. His wife, celebrity hair extensions stylist Priscilla Valles, hasn’t been working much since the tragedy and apparently money is tight. Miguel is being laid to rest on December 30 in a lavish celebration of life service and John and Chrissy are secretly picking up the entire tab for the memorial. My source reveals that not only is Chrissy a client of Priscilla’s, but they’re also close friends. In fact, Priscilla and Miguel were among only a handful of friends invited when Chrissy and John renewed their wedding vows last year in Italy. My source adds that the couple insisted on doing this secretly, even though Priscilla wanted to give them credit for the generous gesture.

Despite their busy careers, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen found the time to help their oldest daughter, Luna, sell Girl Scout cookies. According to our source, (who purchased the special of 5 boxes for $30) John, Chrissy, and Luna set up shop on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood this past weekend. Things started off slow, (not too many people eat cookies in fitness-obsessed West Hollywood) but once word got out that the celebs were hawking GS cookies, they SOLD OUT their entire inventory within an hour.

CHRISSY TEIGEN IS TRYING TO DO THE RIGHT THING

We recently shared what we called “one last tidbit” from our exclusive scoop on Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s vow renewal, but then we heard this bit of juicy gossip and just HAD to pass it on. Days after her Lake Como ceremony, Chrissy gave an interview to People magazine where she blabbed that she and John didn’t exchange gifts for their 10-year anniversary vow renewal but an insider says that’s NOT TRUE. In fact, the couple exchanged new rings, with Chrissy scoring a 10 carat diamond sparkler and John getting a more toned down ring. Why did Chrissy fib? As we previously reported she’s desperate to be liked again and feared blabbing about some pricey ring wasn’t appropriate, especially now with so many people in the entertainment industry on strike and struggling to make ends meet. A LITTLE GRUMBLING AFTER LEGEND WEEKEND IN ITALY

We couldn’t resist sharing one last tidbit from our exclusive scoop about Chrissy Teigen and John Legend‘s wedding renewal ceremony in Lake Como, Italy last weekend. According to our spy, a few guests were surprised that Chrissy and John brought along their children when the invitation specifically instructed guests NOT to bring their kids. The problem? Guests were expected to pay for their own airfare, ground transportation and accommodations, and with rooms at the resort going for over $6000 a night, the tab easily added up. My source says that some guests were miffed that they shelled out so much money to attend, and were forced to leave their kids at home with sitters. “It’s one thing to say no kids allowed if John and Chrissy were picking up the tab for everything, but it’s borderline obnoxious to ban kids and still expect people to pay their own way,” the insider explains.

It’s a woman’s prerogative to change her mind and that’s exactly what Chrissy Teigen did. We had the exclusive scoop about Chrissy and John Legend‘s wedding renewal ceremony in Lake Como, writing about it days before TMZ, People and Page 6. Our well-informed source blabbed about Chrissy’s plan to wear a RED gown to the renewal ceremony even though she instructed all of her guests to wear black and white – so SHE would really stand out. At the last minute, Chrissy realized it might NOT be a great idea. The LAST thing she wanted was to face any backlash because she was ALMOST canceled when some of her past tweets resurfaced. JOHN LEGEND AND CHRISSY ARE HOSTING LAVISH 3 DAY ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION IN ITALY

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are going back to the scene of the crime – they’re renewing their vows in the same place they married 10 years ago! The couple have a lot to celebrate after a rough few years. Chrissy suffered a devastating miscarriage and was almost canceled after some of her past unkind tweets resurfaced. Chrissy and John recently welcomed another baby and decided to mark their 10 year wedding anniversary with an over-the-top celebration in Lake Como, Italy. They’ve invited HUNDREDS of their closest friends and even developed a WEBSITE with instructions for their guests – they’re sticking to a specific dress code so the website includes a montage of photos advising their guests on what to wear to each event. The good times start on Friday, September 15th, and last for three days – wrapping up on Sunday the 17th. Chrissy and John are picking up the tab for the festivities, but expect their guests to pay for their own flights and hotels. On the agenda: a cocktail party on Friday, a lavish black tie reception where they will renew their wedding vows on Saturday, and then a pool party on Sunday afternoon before everyone says arrivederci.

CHRISSY TEIGEN: A BALL GOWN AT THE GRAMMYS? REALLY?

On the plus side, Chrissy Teigen looked gorgeous at The Grammys. The over-the-top pink gown she wore was beyond beautiful and she didn’t flash too much skin or look uncomfortable. But WHERE did she think she was going? Her voluminous (Oscar appropriate) dress had a loooong train and it was totally the wrong thing to wear for the occasion. The Grammys dress code is RELAXED – they say “black tie is suggested” and no one was ever thrown out for not being dressed up enough. The event is young and fun and extravagant rock n’ roll attire is expected – NOT formal attire….

CHRISSY TEIGEN: WHO NEEDS A SHIRT?

Exactly WHAT is Chrissy Teigen promoting in New York this week? Bras – or her Cravings cookbook? She’s been out and about every day and night – visiting the Wendy Williams show, appearing at bookstores etc, and apparently she left all her shirts at home in LA because she only wore bras- with everything. Granted, they were fancy and often colorful, but still jarring on a business day in New York. Chrissy is working on trying to be forgiven for her online bullying and the bras ARE a distraction. But doesn’t she get COLD?
